En allant un tout petit plus loin que les terrasses fréquentées, on tombe sur ce restaurant au coin de l'Augustsrasse. Une véritable cuisine artisanale italienne, qui décline aussi bien les pizzas (faites entièrement maison) que les plats plus raffinés (dans mon cas des filets de lapin au coeur d'artichaut). Décor assez typique à l'intérieur, service tout à fait bien, du vin de qualité en carafe. A recommander à tout prix"

Op onze eerste avond in Berlijn kwamen we op zoek naar een plek om te eten in de buurt van ons hotel bij toeval uit bij Al Dente. Een openbaring tussen alle massarestaurants in deze buurt.Niet al te groot, goede bediening en bovenal heerlijk gegeten.

Genuine Italian food, not Germanised, in a comfortable restaurant in the Mitte district of Berlin surrounded by art galleries. The pasta was excellent, living up to the name - Al Dente! If we return to Berlin to visit the art galleries, we shall definitely eat there.

Came to AL Dente twice during our stay in Berlin, which says something in of itself considering there are probably 20 other restaurants within a 5 minute walk of our hotel. Food is tasty, prepared correctly and the staff are very attentive. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the experience. The restaurant itself is inviting, very warm and cosy. View menu

We went here for a nice family meal, the surroundings were very comfortable and period.The menu was good with plenty of variety for everyone and food itself was delicious, both adults and kids really enjoyed it !The wine was particularly good and very reasonable.I have to mention the staff, who were excellent extrememly friendly and accommodating !Well worth a visit

Ristorante raffinato, cucina squisita, arredamento di classe, ambiente intimo, prezzi onesti. Provati pasta, pesce e carne. Ingredienti di qualità, cotture perfette. Il proprietario ti accoglie in modo molto gioviale, le cameriere sono prodighe di attenzioni e...di sorrisi, che non guastano mai. Superlativi gli interni, romantico il terrazzino esterno. Consigliato per cene di coppia e per pranzi di lavoro. Ah dimenticavo, ottimo anche il caffè.
