"The reason I awarded this restaurant 3 stars and not less is because of the superb view. Otherwise it is not worth paying so much for the food on offer. I was not going to write a review because we enjoyed the view and most of the staff were nice and we were given the best table on the terrace we enjoyed the view immensely. However I later decided to write because it is a pity to have such a beautiful location and have such poor quality food on offer. Hopefully the management will address this problem other guests at the same hotel we were staying in, had exactly the same opinion, a sheer waste of money. I also felt a review would be the fair thing to do for fellow travellers who might be saving this dinner as a trip highlight. Above all to be fair to other restaurants throughout Tarormina who with great sacrifice are offering a much better product. Reasons for low rating: 1.We had a short wait, no problem at all, but even the tiniest hole in the wall restaurant offers a glass of prosecco while you wait 2. Pasta course simply disastrous. The plates were brought to our table very soon, which did not bode well. In fact it was bland, all clumped up as if it had been heated in a bowl and dumped onto the plate; I had to losen it up with my fork. And it was so overcooked soft and clumpy, far from al dente! My husband 's had warm and cold pockets, surely heated in a microwave. 3. Main course chateaubriand this was quite ok albeit not the best cut we 've eaten, medium rare as requested, although bleeding onto the plate. But ok. However we were not given a steak knife but a common table knife and, worst of all, the accompanying sauces were taken out of a jar for sure, mayonnaise and sauce tartare and a very watery gravy. Blasphemy for such a restaurant and prices. 4. Dessert nice although I wanted a cannolo and the person taking the order gruffly said 'no cannolo, finished ' while looking elsewhere. 5. A nice touch was a good amount of pastries brought along with the coffee a suspiciously good amount. Well, they all tasted the same, actually not tasting of anything, just bland pastry rosettes. I repeat that this review is meant to sound an alarm, many people we met in Taormina had the same opinion, and it is a pity. I rarely write such reviews in fact."

La vita va vissuta e goduta ed uno dei piaceri piu dolci è passare una serata sulla terrazza della Baronessa a Taormina. Non aggiungo altro.

Location centrale stupenda con vista Etna, imperdibile. Servizio gentile e veloce, forse un po’ troppo. Cibo molto buono. Sicuramente da provare e torneremo!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate my wifes 30th birthday. The restaurant helped with flowers and cake. Everything was amazing, the food, the wine, the view and mostly the service. Best restaurant in taormina!

se amate il goto e l'eleganza potete trovare qui la vostra zona di comfort . posizione che non ha bisogno di aggettivi, all'interno di un palazzo nobile la cui terrazza si affaccia su un panorama mozzafiato . ottima accoglienza con personale cordiale e cucina davvero buona . nb: Non lascio facilmente recensioni .

nel cuore di taormina, una terrazza con una bella vista, ospita uno dei migliori ristoranti del posto. atmosfera magica dove eleganza e raffinatezza danno un'accoglienza impeccabile. i piatti offrono un'esperienza indimenticabile per il palato. qualità e raffinatezza degli ingredienti, presentazioni panoramiche, carta da vino completa. consigliato per una cena romantica, per un evento importante o semplicemente per deliziare. This restaurant offers a very good food and have everything to become from good to great if the waiting staff focusing to the professional service instead select or prioritise customers. Sadly we had out main course without wine and the service was rushed and missed proper timing between courses. With other words …..if you guys focused to rich people who show up a pijamas looking outfit and drinking coca cola you might miss the the real compliment from the food and wine lovers.

Vista suggestiva... Inizialmente un po ' a disagio, fortunatamente poi è intervenuto un membro dello staff che ha dato una svolta alla situazione, peccato non avergli chiesto il nome lo avrei menzionato volentieri. Abbiamo mangiato due risotti all 'astice e lime fotonici mentre di secondo abbiamo preso un trancio di salmone in crosta di semi di papavero buono e del pesce scottato all 'olio extra vergine che però risultava secco e quindi probabilmente troppo cotto. Peccato perché il sapore era decisamente gustoso. Conto relativamente caro ma nel complesso ne vale la pena.
