"for our weekend in sestri we chose to dine here the first evening, also driven by the fact that it was agreed with our hotel. Very kind staff already in the process of booking phone. When they arrived, they made you sit at our table: a little small, but there was really a beautiful atmosphere created by small lamps placed on each table. We ate an appetizer based on fried anchovies: very good, very light breading, fresh fish. First we chose cutters to the black of cuttlefish with sauce of calamari and thyme and tagliatelle integral with cod, raisins and pine nuts: both good but the cutter wins!!!!! ! We regret not returning here even the second evening, having chosen to try another place, but we will definitely return in the future."

"Mi piace definirla un 'esperienza cognitiva più che una cena quella fatta alla Caciosteria Umbra. Un 'esplosione di sapori ricchi e particolari. Il proprietario, persona squisita e molto colloquiale, va alla ricerca di materie prime di pregio direttamente nelle terre di origine, e questo tipo di 'gestione ' non può che pagare. Tagliere di salumi una cosa astronomica, i crostini da applausi. Ma a volte la banalità è ciò che fa la differenza: un piatto di tagliatelle al tartufo può essere una cosa banale ma anche una saponetta su cui scivolare, può essere l 'ago di una bilancia, banali ma se non fatte bene ... qui erano qualcosa di mondiale, da meditazione. In sintesi, la ricerca delle materie prime nei luoghi tipici, la passione con cui vengono trattati i prodotti e il coinvolgimento del proprietario nel compiere questa esperienza culinaria, valgono la pena di provarla e di tornarci, senza indugio. Esistesse darei la 6° stella !!!"

"A few days ago I was in Sestri which we often visit coming from Genoa We are regulars at two places next to this one but we wanted to change a bit, also because they offered testaroli and panigacci which we go to enjoy with friends in a place near Aulla. I order testaroli with pesto and they bring me three panigacci(3) I point out to the waiter that these are panigacci and that I asked for testaroli and he insists that they are testaroli I say that I know them and then he says...but I'll do the testators in the evening. But couldn't he just say he didn't have them? Terrible beginning and ending I really don't think I'll return"
