tried for times at a time distance I have to say that the quality of food remains high! fish dishes are really gouty! I would have a lot more hair with the portions but remains a positive experience!

local already tested, and as always the products and service are of excellent quality. today the rolls of eggplants filled with fish that delighted the palate. Fish turtles with sauces and berries with wonderful contrasts and spaghetti with rich seafood and sublime goto. cordiality and hospitality make the time spent at the table even more enjoyable.

We reviewed several restaurant menus before we decided to try La Calanca. We really enjoy whole baked fish with sliced potatoes and olives which they had and it was delicious. We didn't want to order a whole bottle of wine and we were recommended a lovely dry white wine by the glass which was very good. The service was good and English was spoken. The Apple strudel was not like the classic. one but was good.

Courtesy and service go hand in hand.... excellent starters, first and second sea food idem territory with super combinations) wine paper adapted to the territory! in two we have ordered appetizers, first spaghetti seafood divided into and an exquisite fish fried always divided into two bottles water gassed, a bottle of vermentino of luni glues and, to end in beauty, a glass of ski boot accompanied by delicious sweets! all for € adequate price for quality/location we will return!

Wandered in here to discuss what was fish of the day . After some debate and google searching we established it was a white, meaty fish served as a steak. We decided to give it a go. I started out with the deep fried anchovies; in my ignorance I expected the strongly flavoured pickled anchovies. These were more like gutted white bait; very nice though and a lot of them. My wife just sampled the bread basket. The mystery fish was excellent, served with potatoes, olives, pine nuts and capers. Very tasty indeed and washed down with a carafe of the local white wine. for our weekend in sestri we chose to dine here the first evening, also driven by the fact that it was agreed with our hotel. Very kind staff already in the process of booking phone. When they arrived, they made you sit at our table: a little small, but there was really a beautiful atmosphere created by small lamps placed on each table. We ate an appetizer based on fried anchovies: very good, very light breading, fresh fish. First we chose cutters to the black of cuttlefish with sauce of calamari and thyme and tagliatelle integral with cod, raisins and pine nuts: both good but the cutter wins!!!!! ! We regret not returning here even the second evening, having chosen to try another place, but...
