"The location is great but not really at the edge of the water. The atmosphere is formal but somehow not in sync with the natural environment and that could be accepted were it not for the really mediocre quality of the food in general. When the manager was asked why the quality of the olive oil was so poor - they did not have bottled extra virgin olive oil - he responded by saying that the German clientelle does not appreciate good quality olive oil ! I would not comment on the value for money issue or the professionalism of the staff. It is a pity as it was recommended as a really gourmet place which perhaps it was."

with the daughter at lukewarm temperature in the garden with the best look on the Swiss 3-speed tagesmen. 10 out of 10 points from the son of a chef who worked himself as a waiter and later became a lawyer.

the restaurant is nice and the pleasant atmosphere. The wine, a little expensive, was very good. the carpaccio taken in the entrance was, surprisingly, covered with finely chopped onions, which did not agree to my commensal who hates them. the rest was good, especially the sole, perfectly realized.

birthday dinners with 4 pers. The dips are impeccable, but all high-priced (as usual in constanz). What still notices is the service that acts quite arrogantly without cordiality and even haperes with regard to greeting and differentiating. because of the privileged sea position, you believe that you can act as little hospitable. Pity! View menu

the restaurant is impenetrably tastefully airy and offers cozy places with views of the lake. the menu keeps a good choice for every taste ready. especially striking was the professional, fleet and friendly service, from reception to the divorce. the team contributes a lot to the pleasant atmosphere. Now to eat: whether carpaccio, zürichlichéd, wiener schnitzel or filetsteak, everything was excellent and in the appropriate price-performance ratio. this quality would have earned a bib gourmand! we like to come back.

We ate at the restaurant a couple of times whilst in the area and both I have to say were somewhat disappointing. You get shown to your table by an arrogant waitress. The food for what it is is hugely overpriced and in my case very greasy with little flavour. The prices another 50% on top of other eateries in the vicinity, plus to add insult to injury they charge vat on top.We won't be back! As I mentioned earlier this is really not worth it. The setting is nice, especially outside on the veranda but the staff, the food and the prices let it all down.

"good restaurants aren't strange to me, but this one really impressed. great service and even better eating. prices are actually quite decent for a restaurant with 2 stars. eat very well. it is very creatiw, without being excessive, and the taste combinations work well. our whole table enjoyed everything we had. the chef seems to lend himself sometimes from different ess cultures, but it is subtle and just what the court needs. Whenever I see deaf on the menu in a restaurant, I order them and I must say that the deaf at ophelia was the best I ever had. you just have to try it yourself. the prices were very decent when considering the quality of the restaurant. a 4-course menu cost 120 euro. servicesooo good! we had booked a table for 6 people but were 30 minutes too late. no problem! the staff was very friendly and assured us that the table is waiting for us whenever we come. during eating the waiters were always there, but never unpleasant. all our questions were answered both in German and in English and we felt that the waiters were really passionate about the food they served.ATMOSPHEREEOphelia lacks presumption. it is a fantastic restaurant, but they would look in a beautiful summer dress and with flat shoes not miss at the place. they do not have to dress inconveniently to experience the subtle luxury that ophelia has to offer. we also appreciated that it is a place where relatiw well educated children would feel comfortable. we sat outside on the balcony and it was idyllic. not hot, not cold – just perfect. they have a beautiful view of the lake and are surrounded by nature. I would not only recommend this restaurant, but encourage everyone to visit it!"
