"The way we stumbled upon this was that my friends and I wanted to find a place that was open for cake and coffee and dinner past 19:00/20:00 and this was the first to show up. So we arrive there and are immediately greeted by a very sweet man who takes care of us right away. Turns out, his name is Mark and is the owner. He told us the story of his place, and how he learned a lot of his cooking abilities from his grandmother. He was so kind and warm and welcoming, and served us so wonderfully. He makes all of the cakes and the rhubarb mint lemonade drink I had are made with rhubarb that his grandmother grows! In general there's something for all diets, traditional/veg/vegan--the coffee was great too. If you like finding good local spots to hang with friends and where you can interact with the owners and get some good native stories, RIZO is the perfect homey retreat in Mitte."

A kawa rewelacyjna. Polecam też herbatę imbirową, a latem colę z imbirem i lodem:)Zawsze odwiedzam, gdy jestem w Berlinie!

We popped in here for a drink after a day wandering the city and visiting Christmas markets. It was modern but cosy. I loved the lighting and candles, created a nice relaxed atmosphere. The hot chocolate was lovely!

We visited by chance and very glad we stumbled upon this little eatery. We had a hearty Lentil soup and an amazing Tortilla. The guy who served us was warm and friendly and spoke very good English I think he was possibly the owner. A great set up and would highly recommend a visit.

Friend and I found this wonderful little bar. Relaxing and felt like sitting in a friend's kitchen! Lovely ambience and friendly owner Mark made us feel welcome! We only had a snack but am sure Mark's passion for baking and food would translate to a lovely meal! Love supporting local business.

My wife and I visited this bar and we weren't disappointed. It has a lovely intimate feel to it and has quite a cosy atmosphere. We stayed nearby at the Easyhotel and this was about a 5 minute walk, definitely worth a visit if you stay there. The prices were very reasonable, with a round of wine and a beer coming to around the 10 euro mark - not bad for a major city.
