"Going to give five stars but must point out we haven't eaten anything here. This is just for information. We tried to visit on 28th October. Google said open and there wasn't a phone number so we drove to the cafe but it was closed. There was just someone locking the door at about 12.40pm ish. Please please update your information, we will try to visit when we're on holiday again"

The best sausage roll I've ever had. The cakes and tray bakes in this place are top notch, so much selection. Lovely traditional setting with some tables and chairs inside

Amazing homemade pies that they can serve with complimentary ice cream or whipped cream. We had rhubarb pie with whipped cream, which was also homemade and delicious. The best possible treat on a cold day.

Spent a few days at the harbour cottage. The cafe is amazing. Has a super range of cakes as well as savoury food. Fabulous view of the harbour from the seating outside. Very welcoming staff and definitely worth a visit.

One of the best places I've been to in Northern Ireland! Great coffee, Great staff and a top notch doughnut with cream and strawberries in! Over the week had a bit of everything and can't fault anything about the place! If you're in Ballintoy Harbour you'd be silly to miss it out!

"We visited here to have the bar food. We we 're greeted by the waitress who quickly told us the restaurant was full. We explained that was Ok. We would eat in the bar. We were then handed A la Carte menus and spent the next five minutes completely confused because we had called earlier and were assured the bar food was being served. Only when we asked the waitress duds he acknowledge the bar food was available. She then brought us one menu between seven of us. The menu looked good. Six of us ordered off the bar menu. One from the a la carte. Dishes came with a side order of rice, potatoes or chips. The food came is reasonable time but we then found ourselves waiting for the rice to come out (it was noted as the serving suggestion with the chilli chicken and the curry dishes we ordered. When it didn 't come we asked the waitress who explained we hadn 't ordered it it was only a serving suggestion . Given that dishes come with a side order, surely she should have asked when we ordered what we would like with the dish? Bizarre. So we ordered the rice. A few minutes later one serving came out and we were told the kitchen had run out of rice! Unbelievable. We ordered chips as the consolation prize. This place needs a good food and beverage supervisor to knock it into some shape. The food was good but the service lets it down. The price was also reasonable but it feels like the restaurant is given priority over the bar food."
