"Big fan of St. John so tried here as a treat. Yeah, it’s worth it. Quality of food is next level. Staff are quality. Menu is made up of a great mix of firm favourites and dishes which sound interesting but have ingredients you’ve never heard of. Their own wine is always better than what else is on the list. Went with the bread and butter (times 2 as it is that good and you’ll need it for mopping plates), cuttlefish, quail, John Dory, lamb chocolate brownie. Quail was the only dish that was average. Everything else was sensational. My partner wanted to order seconds of the cuttlefish and although we’re not usual dessert fans I’d drag my full belly across mountains for another brownie "

hidden behind the doors of an old Victorian school in shoreditch, this small restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet hearty meal. bonus points for their sunny terrace!

We had dinner here and absolutely loved it. We had Osso Buco Risotto for our mains which was fabulous, great wine list, excellent service and all set in a garden oasis. Highly Recommended.

this wonderful kantine is located in the garden of an old school in the landitch. book them before or come early - their seats are limited. especially we enjoyed the lamb, the rabbit, sardines and brokkoli. fresh dominates every dish. byob. View menu

Nice little hidden gem , lovely garden in thr heart of Shoreditch like a secret escape Service was very good Food was nice but a bit overpriced in some dishes can’t charge £17 for ready filo spinach pie if they made their own , it would be more justified Would come again though and def I recommend to visit. **** Mary wasn’t good , very watery maybe change the ice

The restaurant is beautiful in an amazing location very quaint. The restaurant is very rustic and the ingredients are fresh, but the waiters are very unprofessional they forgot about most of our order. When it finally arrived the grilled aubergine was luck warm, a couple that came after us got their order first suppose they were a frequent customers so were treated superior. Overall great place but very poor service

This was absolutely the best experience. Food extremely well balanced, pure flavours and amazing combos. Sounds and looks simple but not at all. All dishes are so well thought out and packed with extremely good produce. A proper culinary highlight. Service also very friendly and cool. Full of knowledge and so down to earth. Perfect match to the concept. Stella, Frances and the whole team were amazing. Hats off to the chefs and the kitchen staff! View menu

My husband and I booked Rochelle for a wedding lunch for 45 friends and had the most amazing time! The staff were lovely throughout the event planning and helped with food and wine selections, making it a very stress-free process. The food, decorations, service and staff couldn’t have been better! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the food was for weeks after. We are so so pleased and wish we could recreate it all again. Thank you Rochelle team for making our celebration unforgettable!

the setting is absolutely lovely, but on our visit food service were disappointing. a main described as salt beef was so fatty that I ended up discarding more than half; dessert of steamed orange sponge was served cold; the butter served with the bread was rock solid (not a chance of spreading it). there were specials on a board that we could see from afar but our waiter did not bother mentioning. I had much higher expectations, perhaps it was an off evening or perhaps I did not pick the right dishes for me, but based on this one experience I don 't think I 'll return
