"A party of seven came for lunch today. We were shown to our table, served food and drinks to the table, both staff concerned were extremely polite, attentive and helpful. Very dated and dirty, top end prices purely because its in Wentworth, avoid and go to Elsecar, much friendlier, cleaner and better value!

we went to the 21st birthday party of a friend and had a great time. we were in the snow and had the private garden. eating the buffet was excellent fresh and a good choice. all in all, a beautiful evening.

Very very long wait time for food and the food was not fantastic and portion size was not enormous. Staff were nice enough but I think a 50 minute wait is not acceptable. Visit was 27 th October. Service: 1 Location: 3

Charming country pub with plenty of character. There’s a wide selection of ales and a fantastic menu. I enjoyed the chicken pie, which was delicious, hot, and offered great value for money! The service was wonderful; the staff were all very friendly. We’ll definitely be back soon!

After a rubbish meal and service at a Greenking restaurant in Cheshire, myself and my sister had a lovely meal and drinks at the Rockingham Arms in Wentworth. The manager Matthew was a great host and Jack was lovely and friendly too. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back for another great evening.

I've been to this pub numerous times and I really enjoy it. There's always a great selection of beers. This visit, they were preparing to close for renovations, so the selection wasn't as wide because they didn't want to tap a barrel that would go to waste, which I understand. I'm hopeful that the charm and traditional atmosphere remain intact after the refurb.
