"mediocre. only 3 tables where we visited and service was still very slow. pleasant and accommodating, but slow. my first cure was ripening. they were fat and the sauce was ok. supposedlyly slowly boiled, so should be tender instead of chewing and fat. the second cure was the classic spaghetti and meatball. the meatballs of too much breadcrumbs, became stone and blanching. the sauce was casual. I left most of it. would have said the personal, unless nobody checked us. they were busy talking behind the bar. my wife found both her courses so that the 3 stars are excellent. I would have 1. much too expensive, bad service, do not eat at the price. 92 minutes for 2 courses. much too slow. very disappointing meal. would make my ordinary second visit as usual, but I would rather not."

"amazing eating! my man (a huge fan Indian cuisine has rode over its appetizers and my head was also delicious. I tend to test a curry house through her nasty brote and gurkha not disappointed light and air (not acidic with a light crack, they were the trembling on the cake to a great night of food. many thanks for the great, friendly service and keep to the cook(s we will be back."

"Tucked away in the back streets of Macclesfield It's one of those places you promise yourself you'll try.....one day. Well we actually got around to and it was a great idea. Firstly it's Tiny maybe seat 12 people at tables so best booking. Secondly service was amazing one server run ragged but none the less as effecient as she was lovely. Thirdly the food was great small tapas style plate of yummy ness cooked by a chef virtually right in front of you. Salt and pepper sausage recommended but everything was good!"

"This restaurant is an absolute gem. Came here with friends, who live locally, who'd been meaning to try it, not got round to it. The service is impeccable, the food was cooked perfectly, and tasted fantastic. The wine list is extensive and a little offputting, but the house wines are extremely good. I look forward to eating here again, on my next visit to Prestbury. Parking: Across the road is a free car park, entrance is up the hill, over the roundabout, first left. There's a cut through past the churchyard, which means you're less than 80 yards away, if you can't park in the street."

"booked for my fiancés birthday, and after all the comments and reviews previously submitted I was keen to see what it was all about. We were the last sitting for the Sunday lunch hence the restaurant was quiet, would like to go again when busy and more atmosphere, but this did not deter from the spectacular food served, you can tell they take pride in what they do. The waitress was attentive and friendly and the quality of the food was first class. I had the hock starter with beetroot and chive mayo, it was a taste sensation, my other half chose the hot smoked salmon and I did pinch some for comparison, I could quite easily have devoured both. Our mains were the rib beef and Yorkshire pudding, again, fresh quality produce was in abundance and we filled ourselves with melt in your mouth beef and crispy puddings. the portions were more than ample, enough room left for a pudding!! I opted for the warm brownie, and it was so soft and yummy, my partner went for the crumble and the fruit content was a pleasant surprise, plump blackberries and juicy apples, along with a smooth custard flecked with vanilla. I would definitely be looking to return to this establishment, the wine and drinks were very reasonably priced and the waitress was friendly and personable."
