"We had an unforgettable evening. The service was very friendly and strives to fulfill all our wishes. The food, from the appetizer to the dessert was extremely good and prepared with a lot of love. The portions were large and very well filled. We didn't have to wait long, there was always a meal and drinks in between. You didn't notice any trouble or stress as you might be used to it from the city and everything was very family. The restaurant, very inconspicuous from the outside, made a very warm and beautifully decorated impression from the inside. Plants and vases, a beautiful light and warm painted premises, radiated a cozy atmosphere on us. We have already visited many restaurants, especially in big cities such as Cologne and also here in the countryside of the surrounding area, but this left us a lasting impression and is a true secret tip! Quality and also price were right! Thanks again for my father's wonderful birthday night!"

The best restaurant for Italian cuisine. Noodles, salads, pizzas are always super delicious. All right. We're here almost every week...

Very accommodating and nice staff. We have put together everything individually no problem at all. The food was very rich and delicious. The price/performance ratio is correct. Very recommended.

A beautiful atmosphere with affordable prices. Everyone gets tired of the big portions! Some things could be more spiced, but there is salt and pepper at the table. We like to go there and regularly.

The atmosphere inside is quite different from outside expected very nice. You can sit well and the service was friendly and OK. The food has not convinced us, the pizza Quattro Formaggi a bit soy and with pizza taste. It's a little faded. Pommes and wine (Lambrusco, Bardolino) were fine.

we have been a guest at Rossini today...Essen a la carte despite the many guests great service and good quality...all very beautifully dressed and very rich. Price and performance very good. Friendly service and beautiful rustic ambience. Our dogs were not a problem either. Very recommended.

The restaurant has a telephone order at Corona time. We were in the restaurant and ordered it. The dishes of the season are offered in Facebook. Our three dishes and appetizers were freshly prepared and very well tasted. We wish them everything they remain healthy and hope for a quick visit to the restaurant.

My first and certainly last visit to this restaurant. Unfriendly, bored staff, no welcome at the entrance, not at all. We had taken Bruchetta as an appetizer, tomatoes was very cold, absolutely inedible, bread totally greasy and muddy. My margherita hasn't tasted like tomato sauce, was almost no one in it! Pizza dough was acceptable but cheap cheese on top of it has tasted really disgusting. In general, we felt very uncomfortable in this place. Never again!

"This place is right at the main market square, in view of the castle. If it looks crowded, there's lots of space in the back, yet you won't get to see the environs from there. The place was relatively busy, and almost every table looked...like it was occupied by groups of friends, or by couples, all in the age range. Obviously this is a very coarse approximation, but you get the idea: apparently it's not damaging to your streed cred to be seen here. Service was rather rapid and friendly, even though the place was bustling. I require a gluten free diet for medical reasons, and fortunately the menu had clearly labeled allergy information, so there was no problem detecting which dishes were gluten free and which weren't. There weren't many gluten free options straight from the menu, but one of them was just what I wanted, so I didn't bother asking whether I could request changes to other dishes. There were many local dishes, by which I mean that many ingredients were specified as being from the direct vicinity of Mayen and it's surrounding villages. Normally, if you think about German cuisine, you might think about thick sauce and inelegant chunks of meat here, though, there were also choices that involved stacks of grilled vegetables, and other possibly more healthy options. Food was quite good, and not expensive at all. I checked the cheap eats box, but this was in no way a budget eatery. They just didn't ask for much money. In all, I can recommend this place if you're in Mayen. Not the best or most excuisite restaurant in the world, but definitely satisfactory, with good food."
