"We booked a table for 4pm as we planned to spend the day exploring. They close at 6pm on Sunday and it wasn't a problem. We ordered a roast beef and a roast gammon, with two pints of local summer ale (Smiler). We had a window table overlooking the busy harbour and when the food came, it was excellent. Freshly cooked vegetables, all with great flavour including honey glazed roasted parsnips, roast potatoes and carrots, savoy cabbage and baby leeks (an excellent combination), delicious side dish of cauliflower cheese, yorkshire pud, all served piping hot, nothing over done, the meats were tender and tasty and the gravy delicious and made from stock. Then came the apple crumble, one with custard, the other with cream. Mmmmmm, mmmmm! Great value at £9.95 a head and £3 a pint for the ale. The bar manager hostess was charming and smiling throughout, helpful and friendly. Great place to relax and read a paper or dine and run."

We visited the yacht club after a recommendation from a friend and can't believe we hadn't been before! The view is second to none, the food is homemade and cooked to order and the staff are always friendly. Weymouth's best kept secret it would seem!

Wow, we loved it here. We were looking for something different for lunch other than a sandwich, and we saw they did cheese boards. We ordered a mezze and a bottle of wine... oh my goodness, this was the best lunch ever. We sat over looking the boats, great people watching spot. The food was amazing, staff very helpful and friendly. We ended up ordering a second bottle of wine. We were there a few hours and would definitely put this as one of the best places to visit for lunch.

I have been here many times and it remains a firm favourite of mine. The club has unrivalled views over the old harbour and as such makes a lovely setting for food and drink mother loves it : The venue itself is decorated to an incredibly high standard I was pleasantly surprised when I visited for the first time. Most importantly, the food is amazing and the prices put many other establishments to shame (the fish Friday's with their choice of batters is a stroke of genius . Highly recommended!
