"I felt this place deserved a review since it wasn't reviewed for over a year. The setting view would be hard to beat in the area. It is simply breathtaking. The standard of food is It's not cheap but it is fine dining....We had a beautiful plate of jamon to start as well as foie gras a memorable (cold) fennel soup, shaved fennel salad marinated local fish- really light, refreshing. Perfect starter in this climate. Main courses were also beautiful- local pork belly corvina. Very accomplished cooking, everything worked well together. Cheese plate was fairly standard basic. Not enough variety of cheeses. Rhubarb desert was lovely, light...one of the best desserts of our Spanish trip. The wine list is extremely basic could be a lot more elaborate. V limited selection of wines by the glass which is disappointing. Our first bottle of Albariño was corked they replaced it without fuss. Service was great."

during the stay in the beautiful sa pedrissa hotel we had to check their restaurant and were certainly not disappointed. we enjoyed delicious Mediterranean dishes, accompanied by exquisite wine in idyllic surroundings.

we were at the hotel sa padrissa and it pi is her restaurant where we had a few dinners. the menu is not extensive, but what it lacks in the quantity is certainly in the quality. we had above all the fish that was always delectable....Hohe recommend the setting is very relaxed with beautiful views over the med.

this type of cooking is not as we like it. a main fish dish with only one bevel as vegetables....Fish overcooked and rubbery. overprice. if the chef of cuisine simple but well prepared Mediterranean dishes, this would be more our style. but of course: everyone has another taste, so please go and find out for themselves.

we had a wonderful meal here. the staff was so helpful, attentive and personal. the menu is small, but it changes every day and vegetarian are always for. our food was fresh and cooked and presented with creative flair. after dinner we were treated with chocolate and orange nibbles with an amusement beech and sweet. the view is beautiful and we loved to sit in a well maintained Mediterranean garden while we ate.

We happened upon this restaurant one afternoon on a leisurely drive. What a unexpected pleasure. First off, the views were gorgeous, but the food was spectacular. My husband had a dish that was a beet cream with raw tuna? I cannot recall exactly the fish...but it was extremely delicious. I had duck that was tender and well flavored. My daughter had a beautiful seafood dish. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal so much I would consider staying at the hotel as a result. It was so peaceful up there on that hill and so relaxing.

Sa Pedrissa is a fantastically beautiful location between Valldemossa and Deia. The finca has 13 rooms (but very expensive approx. 1200 per night) But if you want to enjoy a cozy evening with a breathtaking view, you are welcome to enjoy a glass of wine or a delicious cocktail here. Definitely an unforgettable experience. If you want to eat something, you will also get your culinary money's worth here. It is important to reserve in advance. There is also a beautifully landscaped BOTANICAL GARDEN and a donkey family. A top HIGHLIGHT on Mallorca...

"A Disappointing Experience at Es Raco Des Teix! I recently visited the much-lauded Es Raco Des Teix in Deia, Mallorca, Spain, with my spouse, and I must say that our experience left a lot to be desired. Despite the hefty price tag of 600 euros, the overall quality of the meal fell far short of our expectations. In fact, we have had better and more unique dining experiences at other establishments that don't charge an arm and a leg. One of the main issues we encountered was the minuscule portion sizes. Each dish was disappointingly small, leaving us feeling unsatisfied and craving more substance. To make matters worse, some of the dishes arrived at our table cold, which significantly impacted our enjoyment of the meal. For the premium price we paid, we expected impeccably executed dishes that were both delicious and presented with artistic flair. Sadly, Es Raco Des Teix failed to deliver on this front. Another letdown was the sommelier's performance. We were looking forward to an insightful wine pairing experience, but the sommelier did not provide us with the expected level of expertise. The explanations regarding the chosen wines and their compatibility with the dishes were scarce, leaving us feeling disconnected from the overall dining experience. Surprisingly, we had a far better and more informative wine tasting experience at a local winery in the area, where the staff eagerly shared their knowledge and passion for the wines. When dining at a restaurant of this caliber, one expects a true culinary journey, complete with unique flavors, meticulous presentation, and attentive service. Unfortunately, Es Raco Des Teix fell short on all these fronts. The lack of creativity in the presentation of the dishes left us unimpressed, and the absence of detailed explanations from the waiters and sommeliers about the specificities of each dish and wine pairing was a missed opportunity. Ultimately, the exorbitant price we paid for our meal at Es Raco Des Teix did not reflect the quality or experience we received. While the restaurant may boast a Michelin star, it failed to deliver a truly memorable dining experience that justified the steep cost. I cannot help but feel that we were taken advantage of, as we have had far more satisfying and enlightening dining experiences elsewhere. Save your money and seek out a more authentic and exceptional culinary adventure elsewhere in Mallorca."
