Before I went, I read somewhere that they were cheap and the food was to be stolen. 15 euros and my girlfriend and I couldn't walk normally as we were filled with very good couscous.

I went there today, I took the fish of the day with couscous, the food was very good, the service was slow enough, because it was their rush to lunch. Great place for a cheap meal in marseille.

during my stay in marseille, I dine in a few restaurants that were the worst of them. For the most, the price and the size of the dishes, I paid only about 10 euros for a meal in 3 parts, but to be honest, I would prefer to pay more and have a tasting meal. View menu

superb selection of basic Tunisian foods, including couscous, chorba, tahine and lentil stew. the menu is very varied and everything we tried was delicious. all our bill for the family was less than the price of a fixed price meal in a French cuisine restaurant. the owner is very friendly and helpful. an excellent introduction to the noaille region.

we visited here the first night of our trip and were happy to find a restaurant on foot. Even if it was Ramadan and not quite sunset, the staff was quite welcoming (even if it certainly helps to speak a little French). I wouldn't say the menu was wide, but the couscous was certainly very tasty. we returned several times and each time we enjoyed the food.

I love couscous so I was super excited when a French friend told me it was his favorite place in marseille. Umm. I thought it was just okay. ordered the royal (beef, pork, chicken, merquez, lamb) to share with his daughter. The meat lacked flavour and the peach was rather dry. We also had a tuna block - essentially a fried crêpe with tuna and an egg in the dish inside. I'm not sure I'd recommend it. View menu

my husband and I visited saf saf for dinner in Marseille and we enjoyed a delicious meal. the food was very fresh, tasted good and the portions were generous. They did not speak much English, but it did not affect the quality of service or our experience. I strongly recommend to all those who visit Marseille an excellent alternative to the expensive tourist restaurants of the old port, if you have a limited budget.

all right to start, there is a wide range of couscous restaurants in marseille in this price range - and these are the small things that separate them. In this case, which distinguishes saf saf from the rest, it is the smoky character of the herd that I really enjoyed on the roast lamb (mechoui) that I had with the couscous. friendly service, well located and not so busy that it is mental - beautiful differences between the tables and a good atmosphere. for 7-8 euros do not hesitate to go. nb a lot of places take to take away, which is good sign!
