"I came here with my dad for my birthday because we love to try new foods. The waiter recommended an African wine which was a little pricey for us a glass) but was very good. We started with the bacon wrapped goat cheese appetizer,...which was different than I pictured. It was delicious but It is definitely appetizer sized (only two wrapped cheeses) but came with a great assortment of vegetables and wonderful bread. My father got the safari option with a side of safranhirse (I don't know the name in English but it's sort of a saffron rice type side) and it was to die for. There was no springbok because it is currently illegal to import, so this was replaced with deer. I can't recommend this combination enough! I got the boboti which was almost like a meatloaf in a casserole dish. This was recommended to me by the waiter and is apparently very authentic African. It was topped with cheese and was sweet- there were raisins in addition to what seemed to taste like cardamom and cinnamon. I had also ordered the chili peppers which helped balance the unexpected sweetness from the raisins. I got a side of falafel. The boboti was good, but it was hard to beat my dad's safari choice. The falafel was also good, and has a different flavor than middle eastern types. For dessert we had the batter coated fig and banana. It was delicious as well and a wonderful end to our meal. I would highly recommend coming here and hope to go back soon. I really can't recommend the saffron rice enough!"
