"We were two couples visiting SG around sunset, during heavy rain, in late August, 2016. We were looking for a restaurant for dinner and we stopped by here. We had to wait for around 10 mins until a table freed up. The reception and service was OK the main waitress spoke only very limited English, but another waiter spoke decent English and was a nice guy, with whom we interacted for about 15 mins after we were done. The interior looks like the inside of a castle, with a vibe of one too. The food was excellent, some of the best I have had in all of Tuscany, frankly. The prices were reasonable, pretty much market prices. The patrons here looked like locals, but perhaps some were non American tourists; they looked sophisticated and of the older generation. All in all, I'd recommend this place for a nice evening dinner, in a beautiful town of San Gimignano."

Posto incantevole! Cucina semplicissima, ma personale gentile e cortese. Aperitivo super e pranzo della domenica bello bello. Cantina antica stupenda e vista impagabile!!!!! Oserei un po' di piú sulla cucina comunque complimenti, ci torneremo prestissimo!

Posto di una bellezza superba! Grazie per la serata di ieri. Le portate sono davvero deliziose e abbondanti. Il giovane cameriere (non ricordiamo come ti chiami : simpatico e professionale, vi accompagnera ' nelle stanze storiche di questo ristorante ricavato da una grande abitazione nobile del XII secolo. Vino Syrah eccezionale!

Estuvimos comiendo en este restaurante en primavera. Fue todo un lujo comer en la espectacular terraza con vistas a los campos de la Toscana....una maravilla bajo las oliveras. La comida muy buena, la atención del servicio mucho más que encantador! Pero muy destacable su vino magnífico y su bodega que muy amablemente nos ofrecieron conocer. En resumen ....un lugar a destacar por muchos puntos positivisimos! Recomendable y para repetir!!!!!!!
