Out off all the places in the borders for takeaways, this place is by far the best, food is always perfect, service is great, good delivery times, always polite, cant fault it, highly reccomend this place

We placed our first order online and got a free pizza as a bonus. It was delicious! I highly recommend their curries, so fresh and tasty, as well as their pizzas. Great value for the money and quick service. I definitely recommend this place.

I have ordered takeout from this restaurant several times. My roommate really enjoys the calzones, and I highly recommend the chicken tikka biryani - it's delicious! Not used this place for a while now but on this occasion it was “needs must”. Have to say that they were quick and efficient and the food hit the spot. Impressed with the range of food available and by the fact that its freshly cooked. In fact with Sossio retiring this may be our first choice when we need a “chippy”!

Staying in the area on holiday and on our first night in town we ordered for a family of 12 and ordered from every part of the seriously extensive menu. Everyone and I mean everyone commented on how good it was !! A great start to our holiday !!! My only complaint it is took them **** ages to choose what they wanted !!

I have visited this take away for years. In my opinion it gets no where near the credit it deserves. It makes the best pizza in Galashiels by far. Very clean inside, always very friendly and amazing value for money. Ive tried the indian food also and its amazing, always fresh and made from scratch. The best kebabs I've ever had! I highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The food is delicious, especially the garlic sauce. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back here for my kebabs. Sanghatpur has won my vote, especially their mixed kebab on naan. It's worth a short car journey to sit in and enjoy your meal. An added bonus for us!

Our first takeaway from Sanghatpur Gate and we were not disappointed. We opted for the Indian meal deal for 3/4 which was really reasonably priced. We chose 3 very different mains and all were very tasty and unlike some places not swimming in oil. We all enjoyed them. To accompany it we had play rice which was cooked to perfection and Peshwari nan. The nan was huge and very tasty. The only disappointment was the onion bhaji which were just little bits of onion individually in batter deep fried, we are just used to these being larger balls or patties, I think the polystyrene boxes make them go soggy too. It would be nice to be able to order a meal deal that was a bit cheaper without the start...

I have previously had several lovely Indian meals from here. However, a couple of nights ago my colleagues and I had a late monday night delivery from here and every one of us were left bitterly disappointed. Two of my colleagues had pizzas, one a munchy box and one a chip shop meal. The pizzas were disgusting, the most unorthodox looking meat feast I've ever seen (a spicy sauce with chicken and lamb tikka, mushrooms and onions, no pepperoni or ham in sight! and an unusual, not very cheesy, ugly, tasteless, cardboardy margherita.
