"We were visiting Ingolstadt for an event and it was also my son's birthday, and so I wanted something 'urig'. Schanzer Rutschn seemed a good choice. And indeed it was, even containing the Rutsche and also rail tracks! Décor is more than tasteful and service...was excellent. The food was delicious and generous. As others have said, it IS a little pricey for what it is supposedly a normal Gasthaus, but the ambience, together with good food made for something special. Recommended"

It has a very good ambience. Service is great. You can expect a typical Bavarian life. What tastes like it should. The prices are something on the top. I would recommend everyone at any time.

The rotisserie display as you enter and the fun slide! lead you to anticipate good things and you won't be disappointed. I'm from England and was visiting friends and we couldn't have picked a better place

If you have some international clients with you, the first gaudi, which means fun, is to use the wooden slide from the entrance down to the restaurant in a historic cave. All the food is excellent and there you get the original pure German beer

This place was recommended by our hotel. This is a traditional beer hall panelled walls, good traditional cusuine and locally brewed I guess so beer. The place was not too crowded on Saturday night, however I suggest to park the car in the main...square because the street where restaurant is located is narrow and with very few parking spots. Surprisingly the menu had also some nice vegetarian options. The service was nice and friendly
