"Unfortunately, my partner and I had a very bad experience at this hotel. I booked a hotel few months before the trip and paid a deposit of €180 for two nights. Shortly before the trip, we were notified that it was time to check-in online, and in the process we discovered that access to the hotel was completely restricted. For example, it is not possible to go to the hotel with your own car. You have to leave the car in the parking lot, and from there you have to take the cable car to the hotel. The cable car is closed every day between 16:30 and 17:00, and if you miss it, you will not be able to get to the hotel at all. After that, I contacted the hotel by e-mail and wanted to find out under what conditions it would be possible to cancel. I also wanted to find out if it would be possible to change the reservation to 1 night. About 1 hour after I sent the letter, I got automated e-mail that the reservation had been cancelled -180€ to us). Our reservation was immediately canceled without any response. My partner and I have been staying in a lot of different places over the years and this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The best hotel we have ever stayed in. The owners a couple where very friendly and kind. The view is spectacular and the fresh air and water in the alps is amazing. Please note this is NOT a regular hotel with “burger and pizza”. It is an authentic experience with only access through the lift. You are being part of a family with the owner-couple and other guests. The lift closes at 5pm with is a good thing, so you have privacy. Use the evenings hiking and eating in the restaurant.
