"In der Pfeffermühle wird man sehr freundlich Empfangen und bedient. Die Karte zielt im wesentlichen auf Grillgerichte, die alle sehr lecker waren: Lammkoteletts, Cowboy-Steak (300g mit Speck) und bei mir mit Pfefferbutter überbackenes Rindersteak a Point.Die Karte bietet auf den ersten Blick etwas fremd wirkend brasilianische oder mexikanische Gerichte mit an, die durch die Bank sehr gut sein sollen, sagen einheimische. Es gibt einen runden Tisch unter einem Abzug, der in der Mitte einen Grill hat und an dem man mit einer Gruppe einen schönen Grillabend verbringen kann. Meine Skepsis war also unbegründet, es waren viele Einheimische da obwohl es auch viele auch gute Restaurants drum herum gibt. Lohnt sich!"

"We celebrated our wedding in the castle of Hopferau a few days ago and we and all our guests were completely delighted. The planning in advance was very personal, all our wishes were addressed individually. The wedding day itself was perfect. It was all great organized, the service super sweet and attentive. Starting with the champagne reception with Flying Buffet (the Kässpatzen and the Knödltrio were mega! over coffee/kitchen and dinner until the nightly sounding in the Burgwache we were perfectly supplied. For dinner we had a 4 course menu with different main dishes (Rinderfilet, Seeteufel and Grünkernbratling). (That the chefs had something on it, we had already been able to determine at the test meal: We enjoyed in the table room, which was very beautifully covered and simply has a very special charm. The finish in the Burgwache (Bar was the successful finish after the plentiful dinner. We stayed at the castle with our guests and were able to enjoy a very delicious breakfast the next day. Our conclusion: If you want to celebrate your wedding in a very special setting, we can only recommend the castle to Hopferau.
