Good location with beautiful views. The hotel and rooms are outdated and neglected. The restaurant and food is rather disappointing.

I enjoyed the calfs liver main as well as local wines . Unfortunately there were not many dining so the atmosphere was rather downbeat but this was made up for by good service and food/drink View menu

Der perfekte Abend beginnt mit einem herzlichen Empfang. Einer wunderschönen Aussicht trotz Regen. Die Speisen sind außergewöhnlich und sehr gut zubereitet. Mit hoher Qualität. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Weinauswahl hervorragend. Ein gelungener Abend. Jederzeit wieder.

Gartenterrasse ohne spezielle Aussicht, aber gemütlich. Beim Gourmetmenu waren zwei Vorspeisen und das Dessert recht gut. Die Fischvorspeise ist zum Vergessen. Der Hauptgang ist fleischlastig, geschmacklich langweilig und fantasielos. Lange Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen. Gute Weinauswahl zu fairen Preisen. Freundlicher Service.

We enjoyed a delicious light lunch here. We chose the menu of the day which, bring Friday was fish. The starter was either a soup or salad. I took the homemade soup. The price (25 Francs) included a glass of mineral water and an expresso coffee. Considering the warm and friendly service and the wonderful views down on to Lake Thun, it was an enjoyable lunch experience! View menu

The location of the restaurant hotel is great, great view of Lake Tuner and a beautiful garden, the staff (female) was super attentive and very nice, a waiter was serving at our table, unfortunately very forgetful, we ordered drinks a few times and he only remembered the order when he asked, the food was great and beautifully prepared, can only be recommended, the dessert was also okay

Thun area was great. Hotel location is good. Annex side there is no lake view but you can smell it : Staff was good. Breakfast was very good. Bakery products, cheese, coffee all good. Breakfast view is also amazing. Thanks We have requested a baby bed/cot but once we arrived to hotel there wasn't any baby bed. The staff carried out but it was kind of broken in one side. So we have feared and not used. It was an uncomfortable stay because beds are 2 twins and we have to sleep with baby.

tl;dr: restaurant is to be avoided at all cost, no info about hotel. we didn’t stay at the hotel, but went to the restaurant. seeing it on the guide michelin, we expected at least decent food and professional and appropriate service. let’s start with the first: instead of focusing on high quality ingredients and good cooking, every dish became a mockery by including dozens of different (and unnecessary ingredients). for example, the carpaccio consisted of about 8 different ingredients (when really only 3 are necessary), and all of them were bad. sauces were gelatinous, pasta undercooked, and meat dry. further, the service was ridiculous. i appreciate service that isn’t too formal and pretent...
