"I have gone to this restaurant on two occasions, oted eat very well and at a very affordable price (approximately €20-25 per person), although the appearance and decoration feel like a hyper expensive site. is in an ideal place of tourist talk, in the Gothic neighborhood very close to the church of Santa ma del mar; if you want to go by metro is the jaume i stop of the red line. the place is very large and has a multitude of tables, it has two floors, and it is in an old case of the xix century, in which the hotel is also oriental banys. The best thing is to book because it reaches the tops of the people, and it is convenient to go soon (not later than 14h for meals), since when the service is filled it becomes quite slow and it is needed to serve between dish and dish. At the entrance there's usually tail waiting for the waiters to stay at the table. a warning: like most restaurants in the city, there is no smoking area. the place has just reformed it, has a simple but very striking decoration, especially because it has a kind of interior patio covered with a lucernary of blue crystals that give it a very intimate and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the place. As for food, everything is done at home, based on traditional products following the typical Mediterranean diet. We ask for some things to share and then each one second dish. the entrances were ham chrome on the basis of vinegar (good bass), a melon soup and tomato with ham (special nothing), and some vegetables in tempura (high places). the seconds: duck magret with red fruits (spectacular), Catalan butifarra with monchestas (white beans), squakes and squats. desserts are what I get the most: the souplé turned out to be a very steep meringuilla, the dead cheese came accompanied by mushrooms with caramel (for my drop I didn't stick anything, and the sweet mushrooms were horrible), although the chocolate ice cream with mint and the Catalan cream was very good. in summary: a highly recommended site, both for your situation and for the environment and decoration (ideal to look good if you have to invite someone). the price is also very good, and the food is quality and well prepared. a little fails the service, too slow when the place is full. the restaurant's website is:"
