"We were visiting the area and booked a table for dinner on Saturday evening. The pub was busy with friendly locals and the atmosphere was so welcoming and happy. We learned that this pub was purchased by the village back in 2018 and the spirit...of the village shone through like the Seven Stars. Eulogy aside: the staff were friendly, very efficient, helpful, and below 25! The beer choices were excellent (recommend Butty Bach), and the food was, well...excellent All cooked to order, fresh and local. I had a Chicken and Leek Pie and the pie was a proper one.. not the pre-cooked, goo in a bowl with pastry top. This was a full pie and obviously handmade on the premises. Superb. If you are looking for a REAL pub in the true sense of the word, this is not to be missed."

I can honestly say our meal in the seven stars on Friday night was one of the best pub dishes I had in very long time.

Lovely atmosphere and great well-priced food. Cosy, welcoming, clearly the heart of the community. Can't wait to plan a future stay.

Amazing attentive, friendly staff. A comfortable (albeit squeaky! kingsize bed with fresh white linen and delicious meals cooked to perfection by Sian. We would love to come back another time.

We visited the Seven Stars as a group in November and had an excellent meal in friendly hospitable surroundings. The barmaid was first class behind the bar and also as a waitress. Very impressed indeed and hope to return in the very near future.Thank you very...much indeed.

Visited this pub for a Sunday lunch! We will certainly be back. Great selection of drinks which is always a plus. I had the pork, it really was delicious meat so tender and the Yorkshire pudding was 10 out of 10. I had the...chocolate steamed pudding for dessert and wasn't disappointed. Friendly and attentive staff.. what more could you ask for

Called in for Sunday lunch on our way back to South Wales from Aberystwyth. Found this little gem a bit off the beaten track. Well presented old pub in a small village with a big welcome. Very friendly staff. Meals are clearly prepared to order...with freshly cooked side dishes. The cauliflower cheese was rich and full of flavour. Choice of meats and we had beef and pork. Both perfectly cooked and decent sized portions. Meat is locally sourced, we know as we got talking to the old family butcher who was also having lunch there. This little pub is well worth a visit, not just when passing, best Sunday dinner in a long while.
