Myself and 5 friends visited on Saturday evening 8th July 2023. The staff were efficient, polite and service with a sense of humour! The food was Excellent. Thank you!

the dimming amount was not badly quite authentic. but prepare for a long wait, especially at the busy weekend and when they are a large group of people. the staff there moved very fast, but still friendly.

Food was super authentic tasted exactly like it does in Hong Kong. Only complaints are that it was quite cold in the restaurant and the service was a bit rude/slow at times, but I'll just chalk that up to being part of the authentic HK dining experience View menu

I don’t normally review bad experiences but this one is worth it. To be fair I got take away from them purely because of good ratings. Was putting a lot of hopes into it. Food not only looks disappointing but it smells awful. Spare ribs looks like puke

great, this restaurant so busy service was fast and friendly to see. the dimming amount was as excellent as ever, especially the Har-gau and the cattle cheung fun. prices are very cheap and it is easy to get to the central position. very recommended for all!

Four of us ordered a variety of meat, vegetable, and rice dishes to share. Everything was so good that we couldn't pick a favorite. My go-to dish, beef with ho fun and beansprouts, was as delicious as always, and the braised aubergine in spicy sauce quickly became a new favorite. The service was also very fast and attentive. When you arrive at this Chinese restaurant at 3:00 in the afternoon, you'll know you're in the right place when you hear Chinese being spoken all around you. The dim sum and main courses were delicious, and we compared it to restaurants in London's Chinatown - this one definitely has some of the best dim sum around. You can tell it's good when the majority of the guests are Chinese. The cheung fun was particularly impressive, with thin noodles and large, juicy prawns.

can not wait to go back....the personal are very friendly and the finger crosses them not get a lot of rude Cantonese customers! Woman y is a joy, she reminds me of what good customer service earlier suggested, the house specialties and no fake smiles. of course they will not be busy if food is not according to standards, the 3 meats is very good, singapur fried rice is like at home....dimsum makes us wish we can try everything! the cheung fun was tender and tasteful with the frittier inside, pork and chive also very good. therefore we have to go back, as it seems, like other tabular entries all looked amazing.

After hearing good things about shanghai bay, I finally decided to go this place and brought a party of five for a late celebrity dinner for the Chinese New Year. the restaurant reminds of any typical restaurant I visited during my visit to hongkong. when approaching the landing of stairs, they can literally see and smell authenticity: sets of massive round tables, an aquarium of lethargic crustaceans in the corner, oriental dragons on the wall, and the scent of eating cook in the kitchen wafts in the air. eating was absolutely fantastic, fillable, tasteful and well worth the spent money. everything we ordered was fresh and hot (especially the dimming sum.) it should be mentioned that the me...
