"We had dinner here one night after getting turned around a bit looking for our hotel after leaving the train station. As such, we had had our luggage with us, but it was no trouble as the staff helped us find a good place to put it while we ate. The food was good and the portions were quite large. We ordered a prawn toast, a spicy soup and a beef dish. The lady taking our order made sure we know the soup would be extremely spicy when we ordered as I believe she was concerned we might find it too spicy. It was spicy, but not unbearable. The service was attentive and not lacking in any way."

The food was very average and overpriced for what we recieved. Fruit tea drink was not pleasant. The staff however were really friendly and helpful.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, with friendly staff and delicious food. The only downside was the bottled Green Tea. Overall, I had a great dining experience with my friend and would recommend this place to anyone on London Road in Leicester.

Great big portions! Id def day one dish can be shared by two. Even the most simplest of dish i.e Egg fried rice tastes authentic. I wouldn’t have egg fried rice anywhere but here. The alcohol here i.e the wine is non edible its horrid, wouldn’t recommend that. They do have Chinese beer though

The menu at this restaurant is reasonably priced and offers a good variety. The service was excellent. Although the prawn crackers served were stale, they were quickly replaced when we mentioned it. The beer we ordered from the menu was not available. However, the food was well-prepared, nicely presented, and delicious. View menu

I am a regular here, recently they seem to have taken on staff that are just useless and don’t know what they’re doing, a friend and I went for dinner last week and ended up walking out because after half an hour of waiting no one came to out table to take an order for food or drink. I did bring this up the next day with the owner and he was apologetic, but he needs to sort this out!

Freezing, not one radiator on, evening party of four. Starters cold, spare ribs tough and sauce had filmed over been left standing before serving. Salted chicken chewy onions cooked peppers left raw and cold. Main doors when opened made it even colder, drinks vodka tonic and Chinese beer restaurant prices in cafe environment. Never ordered mains so paid bill of £50 and left never to return.

We had a delicious unplanned meal in here one Friday night. Came in and were shown both the Chinese menu and Westernised Chinese menu. We ordered dishes off both and relaxed with cold beers. The food was exceptional. Real traditional Chinese food with amazing flavour. Portions were very generous and we thought the meal was exceptional value. We even tipped the owner £10 as we thought the experience was amazing. Can’t wait to come back again. View menu

We had dined at the restaurant before and enjoyed it, so we decided to try their delivery service through Deliveroo. The food arrived promptly and was still hot (our home is only 2 miles away from the restaurant). The duck with black bean sauce was the best Chinese duck we have ever had - tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. My husband's chicken with ginger and garlic was equally delicious, along with the egg fried rice. He also loved the Thai soup. We ended up finishing all of our food, which is rare for us when it comes to take-out.

"Went here last night at the tail end of an office Christmas party and we stumbled (quite literally inside having been turned away at a restaurant next door. It was past closing though their OPEN sign was still on. Anyway! Although Oppa was just about to close, they took us in, a group of 6, and stayed open until we finished. When I realized we were in a Korean restaurant, I was so excited; I've been searching for a good Korean restaurant in the midlands. My colleagues were much less so as they had never had Korean food and were unfamiliar with everything on the menu. I ordered for everyone and despite some of them being difficult one colleague kept asking for samosas, aah! the service was faultless. Staff were super attentive and helpful, patient, friendly, good fun, and extremely accommodating. Just perfect! And they stayed open for us quite late without rushing us out, what more can you ask for? Ok, so the food. It was SO so good and I'm already planning to go back. The kimchi was bang on how I like (a big deciding factor for me strongly fermented/pickled and spicy, and fresh. All the bulgogi (marinated meat , dolsot bibimbap (sizzling rice bowl , jjigae (stew/ramen style soups , seafood and extras that were served tasted just like I had hoped they would. Presentation was great everything looked properly appetizing and vegetables and seafood, etc were all clean and fresh. I was too busy stuffing my face and enjoying the moment and company to take photos, but the few photos I've seen on here are true to life. Other things people might be interested in: This restaurant is kitted out to cook Korean BBQ at/in/on your table. It is spacious, with lots of tables and room to move around. Decor is tasteful and minimal. It is clean and indeed I was warned by staff when going upstairs to the ladies' to be careful as the stairs and the toilets had all just been cleaned (and clean they were! . If you're looking for good Korean food, look no further. If you're looking to try Korean food for the first time, this is a great place to start. Go for it! Might see you there, if I can help it :D [I've copied this review over from where I originally posted it because this listing and the one for OPPA in Leicester are the same exact restaurant, FYI]"
