Sofra - Menu

Sofra offers delicious Turkish cuisine! I tried the kebab from their menu and loved it. My partner had the Iskender, which was equally fantastic. I highly recommend dining at Sofra!

can be long. but got wein while we were in wait. eating was authentic and they have some great sampler dishes if they want to try a lot. desserts weren't as good as the escapes. presentation was also beautiful.

Visited again and loved the lamb chops this time! Huge menu with a big mix of options ranging from grills, pasta to burgers. Tried the Hunkar Begendi not the best I've tried but convenient location and easy to find a space even on a Friday night. View menu

I tried Sofra in London for the first time based on a friend's suggestion. I had the lamb kofta with chili, the Iskender kebab, and tabbouleh. The kebab was outstanding, though the tabbouleh serving was rather small. The Iskender kebab was mediocre. Overall, it seemed somewhat expensive.

Sofia Restaurant is located in St. Christophers Place and a few metres from Oxford Street. The venue offers you a selection of different turkish meals. From the main meal what I have been tried and definetely recommend are: Juicy chicken fillet, Chargrilled Chicken Fillet or the Salmon Fillet. The prices of the main dishesh are around £11-18. For dessert I can advice to order the Ottoman Kadayif. £5) The service we received there was very kind and postive.

Situated in one of the nicest places to eat, for lunch and well as dinner, so far has a lot going for it just because it's the corner restaurant there. I sat outside when I went there for dinner and it's really nice, with heaters outside so it doesn't get too chilly in the winters. The food itself however was in my opinion mediocre, maybe it was just my dish, because the people I was with seemed to be very appreciative of theirs. Been here a few times with my bf and we both love it here, best Turkish restaurant I have been to in London, I don't understand the negative reviews, I guess people here don't know good food. One of our favourite drinks here is the homemade lemonade, but unfortunately on our last visit they had changed the recipe for the lemonade and it wasny great, was bitter so we had it exchanged for fresh apple juice and orange juice and it was lovely, but the food was still great like usual. Also accommodating gluten intolerant people, they have great variety on the menu. Definitely recommend this place.

Being in the middle of st Christopher place is a good start for any restaurant. Sofra's food does live up to expectations as well. For a person who doesn't really like middle eastern cuisine, I was still blown away by the lamb at this place the food was really good enough to compete with most other restaurants I have been to serving the same cuisine. The food is not very pricey at all and a meal for two without drinks is 30 40 inclusive of service. It's a bit cramped for space so doesn't make for a very private dining experience and that's probably why one would not rate it as a best best restaurant out there. Me and my friend were treated badly horrible service 09/17/2022 Terrible service from start to finish! I went to the bathroom as soon as I came back a waitress yelled in the middle of the restaurant if I had washed my hands I replied yes she asked again I again answered yes then she showed a ring I replied it wasn't mine what an annoying situation what a lack of professionalism and politeness everyone looking at me and my friend, I was very embarrassed! then dinner was served, we ate we went to order dessert the waitress looked like she didn't want to serve us she made an angry face every time we ordered something.
