"A great location to watch the sunset. Service was good and the drinks were reasonably priced but, the meals were very disappointing. My husband ordered the American hamburger which was a cold burger bun with a small microwave heated meat pattie, slice of cheese six fries in it. This was definitely not like the photo on the menu board or menu and was why we originally chose to go there. I ordered the eggplant salad which was more like an eggplant chutney on lettuce with 4 pieces of very staled bread. There were only 6 other customers there, with 3 staff on so I would not say they too busy to put together a decent meal."

Far the worst place in cefalu, the cocktails were literally the worst we ever had. The place is dirty, the toilet is disgusting, service is the poorest. Avoid the place.

Though we were the only customers that drizzly night in February, Pasquale prepared us a pasta dish with mixture of fresh seafood that was perfecto . I would definitely return

You should not eat here. Food is Bad. It is open 24/7 Drinks are ok, service slow Level of English spoken is below average. Why to come: scenic view and drinks. I repeat: do not have dinner here, you will regret it....

Nice cafe on the beach in Cefalu. They are good at drinks, serve some smaller meals like lasagna, but don’t expect to be here for dinner, this is a drink place and the food plates are small. Nice atmosphere and personal.

We found this bar on our first evening in Cefulu. It's a cool little bar and in the evening there are cushions on the steps where you can enjoy a drink watching the sunset. We loved it. Friendly service and good music and drinks. Especially liked it late at night when it got busy especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

Right on the beach at the east end of Lungomare in Cefalu. This is a great place to relax by the sea and enjoy a very reasonably priced meal. The drinks are so-so but the chips (French fries) are fantastic! We were there a couple of times in May 2013 and they closed about 8pm but they may stay open later in high season. The laid back staff are friendly and the service is good.

Let's set the story straight...bar Sotto Zero owner is hard working and obviously passionate about his business. The staff were friendly and helpful. Always a cheery hello greeted us each day when we attended The beach in front of bar. Bar fine for bar snacks... Cocktails or as my husbands preference grande beer!!! Lovely panoramic views of beach. We have been back 4 years on the trot!

Ate here with my brother and his partner. We tried the American Burger which was a fair size and very tasty, we also tried the pasta bolognese and pasta carbonara, which was very delicious, the staff didnt speak a lot of English so had to practice the Italian that we knew. The service was good and quite cheap for what we had. Its right on the beach so very nice after a few hours on the beach, its a brillant location and so relaxing, listening to the holiday makers on the beach and the sound of the waves. Will definitely come back again

"We booked a table for 7 easily for Saturday night. The staff were very welcoming. We chuckled to ourselves when we were seated as it was not in the shiny interior (as shown online but outside on the side road with the cardboard recycling. Nevertheless, it was THE place to be and we were comfortable (and we could enjoy the full moon! . There were customers waiting for a table but the inside tables were empty. The menu was short (good and in Italian only. We enjoyed the challenge of working out what was on offer through knowledge and a bit of help from our trusty mobile devices. The food was very very good. Everyone really enjoyed all their courses. It was honest unfussy food made with love, care and skill. The caponata was rich and unctuous (which came cold when I was expecting ambient. I don't know if it's meant to be chilled but it didn't dull the flavour and was quite refreshing because the weather was hot . The seafood cous cous was delicious but defeated me (it came with an unexpected side soup/sauce to ladle on with extra seafood . I had mandarin sorbet and it was a wonderful palate cleanser. I had a taste of the basil panacotta and it was superb! Our steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The favourite dish was the ravioli with salmon, prawns and basil pesto cream sauce. The wine was excellent. The service was quite fast with our food and very relaxed when bringing the (hand-written bill. We weren't in a rush though. The prices are astonishing. We ate very well for a great price. All in all, one our favourite meals we had during our visit to Sicily and will be remembered fondly."
