"about hamburg- kulinarisch I have become aware of the restaurant. the menu was actually profane at the first glance and with currywurst and hamburger pannfisch. But the menue: the greeting from the kitchen, a suppe curry- fruity - just great. the saiblingscarpaccio under salad fresh, pikant and made with sweet fruit - unusual and surprisingly good. the coffee burin was not so mine, but the main course with doradenfilet delicate, on the point, the fish fresh and the supplements suitable and visually well dressed. as a dessert a apple parfait with a fresh tastefully matched espuma. well done! The local is new and I look forward to the summer when you can sit outside on the canal. if the normal card is served in this quality, then you can go there on a culinary discovery trip. Keep going!"

our experience: after the opening in 2016 there were light start difficulties in the kitchen. since this year and at several visits there is a clear increase to be noted. out of our own, the kitchen is now great. please this chef fixed chains ;.)- and still the manship in the service is very attentive. Go on, let's go! View menu

the position of speiskai is fantastic. the menu card really very clearly. the quality of the rich foods perfect. Unfortunately, the service staff lacks attention, so you can sit at intervals even longer before an empty glass. In addition, the managing director does not have the hands of empathy and sometimes acts as annoying. Pity!

I was with my family this summer already 3x in the ice cream and we were always very happy. the service is sometimes a bit forgetful, but very nice for it. eating has always been very tasty. we sat at each visit on the uniquely beautiful terrace on the canal, but also the interior is very beautifully designed - modern, without being uncomfortable. we will definitely come back! good eating in a great ambiente with a top service. we were third and were thrilled by eating, we had the saiblings fillet on wild herbs salad with mango relish, pann fish with bratkartoffels (super tasty da beautiful kross) and the fried poulardenbrust on pasta in lemongras - curryfond. the sauces and the dip to the fresh brot were the hit! we come back and look forward to the summer, then it finally goes back to the great terrace directly on the water!

I've never eaten such an inedible green cabbage. beginning that the ordered eating was served on tellers who were made sweet. then there was a grue and not a cauliflower or cook. salt potatoes and no brat potatoes were added. the smoked neck, a disc was fried, was queer. the green cabbage was cooked together with the brittle, and thus the carburetor had this tasty taste, enriched with any fat. inedible, and then the price. everywhere you get green cabbage rich for 12,00 euro and here it costs over 16,00 euro. saves your money.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
