Food is typical German fare. We all ordered the chicken which was only so-so. Rauchbier was excellent. Service was slow, as you have to flag down the waitresses as they fly by. A real experience, not to be missed."

Wonderful view of the spires of Bamberg.. the food is reasonably priced and excellent. We were served by a lovely lady waitress who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere on a Friday night was bustling and friendly. The Spezial rauchbier served here is better kept than that served in the brewery itself!! All in all an enjoyable visit and worth the walk uphill!!
