"After the theatre, we decided to try out a curry restaurant we spotted. Upon entering, we were directed to our table by a waiter on the phone, and then a waiter who resembled 'Manuel' from Fawlty Towers took our order but got it wrong and was scolded by the owner before huffily leaving. The whole experience was bizarre. The food was average and the wine was pricey. There are better options nearby. Unfortunately, we were also bothered by a noisy group at a nearby table who dominated the conversation with their mundane stories."

Shoddy and rude service, awful food that almost never arrived and a poorly looked after place. No reason I would ever go back.

We stumbled into this place looking around the neighborhood for some good food. We needed a place that would take Visa. We lucked out. Got several orders of food to take back to our flat we rented. The food was plentiful and delicious. View menu

Great Indian. Very relaxed and friendly service. Lots of choice, very tasty food. Waiters happy to give advice on the menu and best dishes. You can't ask for more when a group of friends want to have a relaxed, reasonably priced dinner.

They used have a very good, self service buffet lunch. The buffet now comes from the kitchen directly to the table and is very poor quality. I have been a customer here for many years but, after today, will not be returning. It has deteriorated beyond belief.

Found this place using my taste card which is located near Victoria station. Service was good but the food was offish, sorry, well below average. Bill for two of us, 2 x starters, 2 main dishes which included two large bottle beers and two glasses of water £41 with taste card discount even with discount it wasn't worth it. Would not come back only the beer worth it. Spicy disappointment : View menu

The manager and waiter were intoxicated and had difficulty speaking English. They were also speaking incoherently while smoking what appeared to be local tobacco, possibly getting high. The food was terrible, overpriced, and served in very small portions. The most disappointing part was that this Bangladeshi restaurant was falsely presenting itself as an Indian cuisine. It is best to avoid this place entirely.

Last night, my friends and I visited this restaurant for dinner. We were looking for a nice and relaxed place in London with good Indian food, and Spice World definitely met our expectations! The food was delicious and the portions were generous for the price. We couldn't finish all of it. Our waiter, who had been working there for 25 years, was very friendly and hospitable, making our dining experience enjoyable. We will definitely be returning. Thank you very much.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
