"Report; German English 2023-The food was good and the service was quick. But the price for a small 3dl. Bottle of cola for CHF 5.50 really bothered me! 2018- Ordered ice cream and a steak with herb butter for the main course. Both were served much too late. The ice cream for dessert was already halfway melted when it was served. The same for the main course with the herb butter on the steak. Just a pool of the herb butter on the plate. That's just not possible! 2017-Parking lot and garden seating area available. Always lots of guests. Pizza neither really good nor bad. Depending on the waiter, the service is rather poor, slow, sluggish and laborious. For me, this restaurant is definitely not a real highlight. 2023-The food was good and the service was quick. "Apart from the tiny portions, the food was served with a lot of dedication. Each course has space on a coffee plate. The alarm bells started ringing for me right from the start when the sentence came, in our case we leave the restaurant feeling full but not overcrowded..... Oh dear, I thought. To be honest, when I go out to eat, I don't want to go to the fridge afterwards. However, you can always order a supplement, which saved me from starvation. It's just not my style to curtsy as a supplicant for a little more food. Don't think everyone does this because they're ashamed. In terms of taste, I found all the dishes very tasty, although not amazing. Somehow nouvelle cuisine reinterpreted. Meat and vegetables cooked perfectly, really very fine. In my opinion, the descriptions of the preparation and origin of the dishes at the table are too much and seem a bit artificial. In terms of price, that's a challenge. A bottle of affordable white wine costs around 60 to 100 francs, well. Together with the meal around 300 francs I think it's too much. But just. It was no different in Switzerland in the 80s. We simply pay too much in Switzerland. Still, I think there are few restaurants that celebrate food with such dedication. If the portions were a little larger, I would try it again. But only when I have some money in reserve again. The whole thing took too long and got on my nerves. I want to eat and not talk to the person I'm talking to for hours. We spent almost 3 hours in the restaurant. Deduction for price and quantity otherwise recommended. The concept seems to be working. Is always well booked. You can also see this in the little-commented reviews of Trüblis. Don't need to react to it. A pity."
