"We went there for the most rapid reviews, but were disappointed. We might have been there the wrong day, but it was extremely busy and very loud. In addition, the staff was very good to avoid eye contact, so we had to wait more than half an hour after sitting before we got attention from the staff again. We found our appetizers, Paling on toast and crakes mosseltjes to be a bit spoiled in taste, but our net, both had the liver of the calf, were all right although they float in fat. We skipped dessert and even coffee and paid the bill we expected. Of course, this review is based on a single visit, and I believe in second chances, but in this case I think we will leave a visit."

Hidden and Cosy place in the center of Amsterdam. Great chance to enjoy authentic Dutch ambience. Dark wooden interior makes you feel even cozier once you’re inside. Good and uncomplicated menu of Dutch snacks. Good meat. Friendly staff.

Piet de Leeuw is a good place with very friendly and happy staff that cheers you up, the food is nice well presented and savoury. We eat inside, the place feels old which gives it a nice experience, full of memory’s written in the walls. Went there twice in my stay in Amsterdam, that means something ????
