"I think Michelin need to revisit this restaurant, it is not star worthy. I have eaten in one and two star establishments and this doesn't cut it. When we arrived we were told that our waiter would bring us a wine list but that they had run our of menus. Surely this is one of the basics, especially as the restaurant was nowhere near full and the menu was simply printed on a glossy card. We ended up having to ask again for the wine menu and some water even though our aperitif nibbles arrived literally as we sat down. The wine eventually arrived after half an hour. The amuse bouche was inedible - a cold green flavourless soup that we both left. The langoustine ravioli starter was very average and the fish course was swimming in a creamy sauce, both of these dishes had a similar soupy texture. The pigeon main course was OK, but even though there were three courses of dessert (pre-dessert, dessert and petits fours) none of them were worth waiting for. The dessert called Memories of Mexico was simply bizarre (and not in a good way) - mango sorbet on slightly stale tasting madelaine, with slices of carrot and splodges of unsweetened avocado. The wine was delicious and local and our waiter was delightful. The dining room is slightly cold and austere. The plates were OK in their presentation but nothing was "Instagram Worthy""

Great restaurant in the heart of Toulouse, the food is excellent and the service to match. Located in the conservatory of the Hotel de l'Opera, Stephane Tournié delivers a true Michelin Star experience with clever and original dishes in a warm and appealing environment. Can't wait to go back.

The food of menu was excellent , a great rate quality and price for the 64E menu .A very creative cooking for traditional meals of 'terroir '. The chief Stephane is on board and very cautious . Service is well , a lot of space and silence for a place so closed to Capitole. Some wines prices seems a little bit high.

From the outside on a cold day it looked a little daunting, but the food more than made up for the cold draughts. Excellent tasty dishes surprised us. The service was good and we arrived having been told it was full but managed to get a table, the final bill was less than expected. one word of caution wrap warmly if you go on a cold day

Perfect in every way possible. Service was extraordinary with a waiter both knowledgeable and helpful. The wine selection was broad and fairly priced. Two of our party had the set dinners while the third ordered ala carte. Each course was presented beautifully and showed creativity. Each a feast for both the taste and the eyes. We'll be back.

Excellent dinning exoerience at reasonable price. We took the Capitoul menu, 64 euros, and it was a fantastic mixture of flavours and dish presentation. The staff was very friendly and explained all the dishes in good english. I found the wine list a bit expensive but it was a quite interesting offer of French wines. Certainly we will go back.

Food was good apart from strange amuse bouche consisting of a tiny piece of smoked fish and a sliver of watermelon. The service was very impersonal, there is no much atmosphere either. Noone seems to be in charge, you are not really greated. We were there for over two hours, no one came out of the kitchen, No tablecloth, slightly battered cutlery.

Visited the restaurant for lunch on Friday and was surprised to see that only a few tables were occupied. My husband and I both chose the Menu Opéra - 3 courses for a very reasonable €32 per head. The langoustine starter was great but the second two courses were even better. My fish main was cooked to perfection and the sauce with mussels was so delicate. Dessert was a beautiful éclair with sorbet. I'm sure we'll return when we're next in the city.

This is a pleasant place and the service was immaculate. We all ate the €64 Menu Capitoul, but although every dish was meticulously presented, my wife and I found the food rather tasteless and disappointing. As you would expect the wines are pretty pricey. We ordered a white Languedoc - Cuvee du Planteur - at €45, which was very pleasant. Then we moved onto individual glasses of red, ranging from €8 to 16. The best was the Lebansese at €16, The rest were nothing special. If you fancy champagne at the start, you might consider ordering a bottle. Our four individual glasses cost €69.
