"Outstanding food, wine and service. We arrived late in Lucca with two hungry grouchy kids (3 and 4 years old) and most places were full. This place didn't look like the most child-friendly restaurant but we were desperate. The guys were so welcoming, served up plates of crisps and watermelon almost instantly to calm the kids. Then the main event... The food!!!! I had a salmon and fennel salad, my husband shared a plate of antipasti with his brother, the kids had pear and pecorino ravioli. And my sister in law had the same but with the gorgonzola sauce. We couldn't believe our luck. Food was outstanding. Wine was fabulous. Atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Thank you so much for an incredible experience on our first night in Lucca."

Tired of walking around Lucca in the heat, we really wanted to have something light and go back to the hotel to relax, so early opening time was required. I was not expecting much for that reason, but it was really lovely. All the food we had was freshly prepared; Italian food with Eastern European twist.

We were recommended Stravinsky by a local who thought we might like it. The Insalata Misto was delicious as was the ravioli di Giorno. The place was being run by one person the night we visited and he did such a good job. We’re going back again tomorrow. Fabulous place and deserving of the positive reviews.

StraVinSky is a fantastic, welcoming restaurant. We loved it here in fact we visited numerous times during our four days in Lucca. We had lunch, dinner, cocktails and popped in a couple of times for desert and wine. All were delicious. The menu is small with a few specials added daily. All dishes are prepared when ordered and are of truly excellent quality. Roman is a very talented chef, creating both Italian dishes and international cuisine (loved the Tom Yum! . Deserts are also homemade and we tried a number of great wines. Roman and Vlad are brilliant hosts, we really enjoyed ourselves here and will hopefully return in the future.
