Sun Inn - Menu

This pub is excellent, but in my opinion, the toilets are terrible. If the toilets are not well-maintained, it makes me question the cleanliness of the entire establishment. I would only consider coming here for drinks, but never for a meal.

As a regular visitor at the Sun, recent improvements have been welcomed by many New menu is great. Staff have a smile on face and help create a comfortable atmosphere to socialise in. Can’t fault the food, beer or service. Busy at times but that is understandable. 10/10. Chapeau to management and staff!

Four friends went to dinner on January 19th. It took 30 minutes to find a crumpled menu, and there were no vegetarian options available. The menu had limited choices, and it took 20 minutes to receive our food. We had to send the food back because the fries we were served appeared to have skin on them and were cold. The Sunday roast is absolutely out of this world, The veg was cooked perfectly Al- Dente, the meat was lovely and tender, i can honestly say what a treat! the staff were lovely, the pub overall has an amazing feel to it, i was blown away with the rear garden area and its Gin Shack, loved it. also Pet friendly which i am super pleased about. A lovely place, definitely going more ! :

We arrived in the mid-afternoon on a Sunday, hungry and thirsty after a long drive. We spotted the Sun Inn just around the corner from where we were staying. It turned out to be a great little gem, although the menu was limited at that time of day, the food was excellent. The beer and cider we ordered were very welcome and refreshing. The atmosphere was relaxed and surprisingly quiet. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The lady who served me with a tweety pie tattoo on her arm was extremely rude. No smile no hello just a yeah I had a few interactions with this lady and if I was the manager I would sack immediately. however, the waiters were very polite and helpful. The food was hot and very nice. It 's a shame the bar staff were rude unhelpful. Would i go back....after the customer service I received at the bar probably not. If you don 't like dealing with the public then I would advise you go work in a warehouse. View menu

Visited here first time for food for ages. Late lunch with friend. Gone back to pub food which is great, just wish there was another potato choice other than chips with meals. I had Black Blue burger which was delicious, nice homemade burger. Friend ordered Hunters chicken which he really enjoyed too. Quiet when we went in at 1 pm on a Friday but people started coming in later. Staff friendly helpful. Had bad experience few years ago hence why not been for food for a while but will be back now after recent visit.

Really disappointed with our visit to the Sun. We have regularly visited The Sun but it is certainly not the pub it used to be pre covid. Myself and 2 friends ordered a bottle of white wine which was expensive compared to other pubs! . We were given 1 wine glass which wasn 't very clean and 2 lager glasses as apparently there were no more wine glasses available! We found a table but it was wet and sticky from previous spilt drinks and obviously had been cleaned for a while. After 10 mins we went to ask if any wine glasses were available sounds silly, but drinking wine from a half pint lager glass just doesn 't seem right . We thought they may have been being washed when we initially ordered...

I have had the pleasure of meeting a few friends in this establishment recently and have been treated well on these occasions, unfortunately this time I was treated terribly by the management.I had just entered this pub to meet up with some ex work colleagues, I was greeted by a nice friendly polite bartender and was served a pint of Cider, I had been served with a pint of cider, I was aggressively approached by the manager who proceeded to tell me loudly in front of a large crowd of fellow customers that I was barred for some reason relating to a beer Festival held in this pub, which I did not attend due to having a broken Neck which required extensive cervical spinal surgery which has left...
