"Today I had the most disappointing meal I have ever had from Superfry which I had considered the best chippy in the area. Firstly I had ordered a cheese chip and when I returned home to have my lunch, found that I had received a gravy chip instead I don't like gravy chips . I had also ordered a Hawaiian burger which turned out to be one of the driest burgers I have ever had no onions or thousand Island dressing. Unfortunately I probably won't be back"

First time visit to the Superfry and it was not disappointing. I ordered 2 cod suppers and they were huge. I was also offered tartar sauce as I collected my order. The staff were friendly and they accept card payments. A definite return visit will be on the cards.

Stopped off for a carryout to bring to the beach to eat. Am a fussy eater. Fish was perfect. Chips N curry was excellent. Really enjoyed it enough to bother leaving a review. Couldn't finish it all so arrived home with leftovers to reheat at home. Look forward to that. Will definitely visit here next time I'm in Portstewart. Excellent. View menu

We recently visited the north coast for a walk a long the beach, on our way home we thought we might stop at Portstewart and enjoy a Chip Monger treat for dinner. Unfortunately it was closed so we went next door to the Superfry chippy (our first and last visit). Tasteless greasy food, overly priced and we ended up throwing most of it in the bin. Very disappointed.

We decided to try for fish and chips as were visiting for the weekend. Really sad to say that they were the worst fish chips we have ever had. The fish is not freshly cooked from scratch with batter, tastes like supermarket frozen fish. Chips were obviously sat a while. On the plus side, the young man serving was super friendly good craic. Sadly we wouldn’t go back.

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
