"Although in the heart of the touristy Opera 9th Arrondisement and nestled between well known tourist accommodations, is it possible this is an actual locals enclave? Shh, keep it secret. It is just a lovely little cafe, with locals standing at the bar drinking beer or coffee with a quick bread roll for lunch, or Parisiennes enjoying a simple sit down lunch in the deceptively sizeable art deco restaurant area, ordering from the daily blackboard menu. Plat of the day was a wonderful steak and bearnaise sauce, and junior monkey went crazy over the exquisite beef carpaccio, followed by a carmel-nut encrusted vanilla icecream with merangue centre. Such delightful staff, and such a warm reception. Friendly spot; we almost want to leave it just for the loyal locals to savour! What a sweet treat for us."

Stopped in for the English breakfast: croissant, baguette, orange juice and omelette, plus coffee. Great view of the Folies Bergere across the street. Cozy place, cheerful service.

Great bistro, even if they're Chinese. (lol) They are very pleasant, with a good atmosphere. Very clean, welcoming, reasonable rates, super responsive. Beautiful setting (art deco, facing the Folies Bergère).

We had a great time at Tabac des Folies. Homemade meals, top cocktails and a really great show. Thanks to Tati Galaxy and Alizée Shane for giving us a quality atmosphere. Every Friday evening shows with a formula for only €19. I highly recommend

Great time spent discovering the Friday Cabaret Mix evenings thanks to a friend. It's more than affordable (a good little dish cocktail for €19) while enjoying a joyful show on a small stage. Thanks to Auntie Galaxy and Jenny from the bloc note, 2 artists who created a great atmosphere, from Line Renaud to Yodel we had to dare and it was successful. I'll be back.
