Very disappointing meal at this restaurant. The waiter told us that the quality of food was very high so we decided to give it a go. The starters were fine but having waited one hour from ordering for our mains to arrive, they were very poor and cold. I think the waiter was more interested in tuning Sky TV in for the World Cup football! Would definitely not got back.

Éramos 6 y comimos varios platos, entre ellos paella, entrecot, mero. Todos quedaron satisfechos, tanto con las bebidas: mojito y sangría, como con los platos. El personal tuvo mucho cuidado. In a very busy and hot Roses, As a party of four, we decided to search the back streets for a restaurant in the shade. Taberna del Mar was busy but had a table free. Not wanting fish or paella, I opted for goats cheese salad to start and chicken escalope for main. The goats cheese salad was delicious and couldn’t be faulted however when I had eaten a quarter of my escalope to my horror I discovered it was raw. I told the waiter who told me it was very good quality chicken and he would fry it again for me. I told him even if it was good quality you can’t eat RAW chicken and I did not want anything else. He agreed to take the cost of the meal off the final bill. All in all a terrible lunchtime... View menu
