"Very good, freshly made Indian foodWhen we found ourselves in front of this restaurant at lunch time, we decided to give it a try despite a few negative reviews. We tried two of the lunch thalis (plates) and were thoroughly pleased with the quality and quantity of food. The meal began with very good soup, chicken soup to accompany the fish thali and vegetable soup with the Navratan (vegetarian) thali. Both thalis included a mixed vegetable (cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, zucchini) sukhe sabzi (veggies not in a sauce), salad, rice, raita (yogurt), and fresh, hot naan (bread). The fish curry was tasty, and the palak paneer (described as orientalische spinatkreation on the menu) was excellent with good pieces of house-made paneer (Indian cheese). A display of Indian spices and deities at the entry is attractive. The restaurant has an extensive menu of veg and nonveg dishes and can accommodate specific requests such as Jain preparations."
