"Keep in mind I am Indian and grew up with Indian food from all over the country so I know my way around a good curry and like most ethnic food in Germany they have sadly dumbed down the flavours and the presentation which is a shame as I think they could really do well if they stuck to what they know well - authentic Indian food & flavors. While some food is spicy most of it has been mind nummingly spiced down so lacks the real flavor that it should accompany. And no, in India we do not eat big leafy lettuce salads, but have plenty of delicious yoghurts served with cucumber and tomatoes which serve as a great contrast to a spicy curry. I kept things simple and had the chickpea masala which was delicious as I insisted that they cook with traditionally not sparing on the spicyness. I tried alot of my friends food and found it lacked the punch that makes real Indian food so moorish. All this being said this is as close as you will get to having Indian food in Celle unless you cook it at home with some great ingredients from the local Asian Shop."

Being English I have struggled to find a local Indian restaurant that caters to my desired level of spice. But that has changed I have nothing but praise for the quality of food and the friendliest staff

Had Good time there. I was with a group of 6 with different taste buds. Nicely decorated with a good ambiance. Our order was served quickly. They have a nice team of people serving the guests. Will go again.

My experience to this restaurant was ok, bad points were...... Service I felt was poor, got food without cutlery, starters we had poppadoms which were not fresh but straight out of a packet! Main meal was ok, but tasted just as good as the microwave ones I get back home! Nan bread I could not fault.

We were a group of 6, we sat outside on the patio as the weather was nice so I am not sure what the interior was like. We enjoyed 4 different meals and everyone was happy. i love butter chicken and like to try it at different restaurants, I was not disappointed, just the right amount of spice and the chicken was tender. The service was just ok but I gave it 5 stars because for me, it did not affect my meal. I look forward to our next visit.

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."
