ordered rice, pork rolls and black rib. the fried rice was fabulous, the pork rolls were terrible and sour and I couldn't eat them and they forgot the pork tips and I never got them. I will not return

we ordered spare ribs, they came and they were ice cold, but the sauce was warm. chili chicken was not sharp at all and the whole chicken came on the bone. we also ordered a pork dish that came and it was like that. .

We just stop for dinner takeaway, the simple one to bring home to our accommodation. So, we chose Fish soup with preserved vegetation. Well, it was OK and we enjoyed our late dinner at our accommodation. Location is very close to Cologne Central Train Station...(Hauptbahnhof).

Das Wang Tang bietet original chinesische Küche fernab von den klassischen Gerichten des bekannten Chinesen um die Ecke. Ob Hühnerfüße, Entenzungen mit Pfeffer oder Innereien alles hervorragend zubereitet. Aber auch für Vegetarier oder nicht so experimentierfreudige Gäste ist etwas dabei. Vernünftige Preise, ein guter Service und wirklich leckere Gerichte sind wirklich einen Besuch wert.

If you feel for authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go. We lived in Asia for years and were not able to find real Chinese food in Münster where we currently live. We heard of Tang Wang from Chinese friends. We had...dumplings, sweet sour pork and the spicy beef glass noodle soup and all was just like in Asia. The restaurant is frequently visited by Chinese customers, which is always a great sign when authentic food is what is wanted! View menu

Tang Wang is a generic Chinese restaurant, ie they don’t seem to follow any specific Chinese cuisine (like Cantonese or Sichuan) but have dishes from all over China . Nevertheless the dishes itself are quite authentic and well prepared probably the best in Cologne...(competition being limited). It’s not a particularly charming place, interior is rather simple and it’s located right behind the central station (which doesn’t really matter as there is only indoor seating)

I know chinese food, I love chinese food! This restaurant is very good, authentic, with a great variety to appreciate. Of course I’m blessed to often have someone with excellent mandarin skills that make my visit even more authentic and memorable, and I enjoy it....Nevertheless I sometimes struggle with too much authenticity like chilli chicken with bones. It could be one of my favorites if they wouldn’t fine chop the animal leaving all the little bones inside, so you can enjoy the flavor and have to spit out the whole thing because you can hardly manage to separate the good from the bad and the ugly I would so much love to eat that dish, but I’m sure I’d lose my patience. Maybe it’s just me...

Ich war bis jetzt immer Mittags im Tang Wang, nun auch mal zum Abendessen. Also eins vorweg: Für ein romantisches Dinner zu zweit in schöner Atmosphäre, ist das hell erleuchtete, fast klinisch wirkende Lokal nicht. Sollte der/die Liebste jedoch ein faible für Geschmacksexplosionen im Mund haben, dann nix wie hin. Ambiente wird doch meist überbewertet...An unserem Abend waren nur und ausschließlich chinesische Gäste da. Ein Blick in die große Speisekarte lässt erahnen, dass hier heimatliche Genüsse im Vordergrund stehen.
