Staff preparato ed attento. Abbiamo preso la bresaola di chianina, formaggi misti di caprino, coniglio al brunello e polenta. Dire che erano ottimi è riduttivo, tutto buonissimo, il coniglio spettacolare!

It was a really nice dinner, the dishes were fine, well prepered. One of the best places in Town or surrounding area for sure. However, not excellent or special as we expected from Michelin reccomendation. We had pasta cacio a pepe and the one with bacon and peas. It was a good meal, like home-made, in friendly atmosphere. We did not have reservations when we arrived in Montalcino. Luckily we were able to make a reservation as soon as the restaurant opened for dinner...otherwise, we would not have gotten at table. The restaurant was charming. We started with a delicious bruschetta and then shared wild boar; pasta with cherry tomatoes, garlic and basil; and polenta with eggplant and tomatoes. Everything was wonderful!

Ristorante situato nel cuore del borgo di Montalcino. Rigoroso controllo del green pass e della temperatura all’ingresso, tavoli separati da barriere di plexiglass, leggera musica di sottofondo. Il menu è piuttosto vario, la carta dei vini è da paura e propone una scelta praticamente sconfinata di Brunello di Montalcino. Abbiamo provato pinci cacio e pepe, un secondo a base di cervo e un dolce alla pera e cioccolato. Servizio molto attento e cortese. La cena in sè è stata molto buona, ho percepito però un ambiente formale e un po’ freddo, forse potrebbe essere utile rimuovere il plexiglass.

Had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. Come hungry, and treat your self to 3 courses as the menu lays out for you. Caprese salad and prosciutto with melon were fantastic. Pinci alla (something) homemade pasta with tomato and garlic outstanding My husband had the rabbit for his 3rd course and said it was excellent. I had the cheese plate and it was also very good. Ricotta dessert was unusual my husband really enjoyed it I thought it was ok just not my type of dish nothing wrong or misleading about how it was described. Wine list is EXTENSIVE largest we have probably ever seen. Courteous, attentive service. Can recommend without hesitation based on our experience. View menu
