"The 1st time we came here for afternoon tea it was delicious and worth every penny. When we went back for the same we had a very different experience. No fancy sandwich fillings, just bog standard egg mayo and plain ham. The scones where very good as they had been the first time around. The cakes were abysmal. 2 slices each of 2 different types of cake. First visit we got all sorts of lovely little individual cakes and brownies. I won't be coming back it was so disappointing compared to the first time we visited."

Amazing find. The vegan scones were amazing. Staff were very chatty, friendly and very welcoming. Will certainly be coming back when next in the area.

We stopped here for cake and a hot drink. The weather was lovely so we sat outside. The coffee machine was not working so a small cafetiere of coffee and a pot of tea went well with the cake. A lovely place to stop, relax enjoy a lovely piece of cake View menu

I enjoyed a delightful ploughman’s lunch here today (Sunday). Although we arrived later in the day, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we were the only ones there. The food was excellent, and the tea was served in beautiful china cups. I will definitely be returning!

When our food arrived, it came out separately, and my bacon sandwich was made with the wrong bread, featuring just a single small piece of bacon and some fat—definitely not worth over $5. Once my order was corrected, I was pleased to find that the food was delicious, and the scones were fantastic. It's a shame because I'm not one to complain, but overall, I left feeling quite disappointed about my first visit.
