"We have visited Thai Square several times before and have always had wonderful service and great food and drink . There used to be an amazing cocktail menu and the staff had always been so friendly and welcoming . On this occasion we were very disappointed to find that the drinks menu was very much reduced only cocktails and of those were not available) . The atmosphere in the restaurant was not at all The same as when we have visited before and the staff members seemed disinterested. The food , as always , was amazing ! Full of flavour and beautifully presented so we did enjoy our meal but the evening overall was not the one we had been Looking forward to . I would still recommend Thai square as I hope that our visit this time was a one off and that if we dine there again things will be back to how they always used to Be ."

Lovely food would go back! As we ate in the restaurant we were then given entry to the cocktail bar next door which is usually £45pp min spend. Fab cocktails!

The food was delicious, but the value was not outstanding. The restaurant is good overall, but it is just average and not upscale. Paying £18 for a prawn pad thai and £9 for a rather small glass of wine was a little bit on the expensive side.

The food was decent, with good flavor but not very warm. The weeping tiger dish was actually quite lukewarm. The restaurant wasn't very busy on a Thursday night before Christmas, and lacked much ambience. The ladies' toilets were extremely dirty, smelling awful with overflowing bins and cobwebs and dust in the corners. It seemed like someone was aware of the stench, as the door had been propped open. If I had seen this before eating, I would have left and gone somewhere else.

This branch of the Thai Square chain is actually in Shaftesbury Avenue, very convenient for many nearby theatres. The pre-theatre menu we were offered had either vegetarian or non-vegetarian mixed starter followed by plenty of choices for the main course. The non-vegetarian starter was five or six items plus sauces, all very tasty. Mains of chicken green curry and beef panang were both excellent. The service was friendly and efficient and the meal was good value for money. Will visit this and/or other branches again soon.
