Angel Inn - Menu

What a great pub. Proper pub. You don't often see horses in a pub garden. Beer quality could have been a little better.

Friday night supper, reserved a table for 7pm, glad we did as pub busy at this xxx time. We went for the Piemaster pies, delicious. Good value and great service

Friendly staff and the age of the place and its previous use as a coach house give it plenty of character. Lots of birds flying in and out of the hay loft. Good burgers.

Didn't actually go in.. I was waiting at the bus stop over the road where my wife was going to pick me up. All seeing Google maps asked me for a review. If I had gone in I would have given it 5 stars.

The Angel is a very old Inn and has great character. The staff are very helpful and extremely trustworthy. The hospitality is wonderful. Best nights sleep the bed was so comfortable. The breakfasts are the best. View menu

This pub is a fantastic spot located within easy walking distance of Ashton Court Estate. We spent the night here during a festival visit. The bar manager/owner was incredibly attentive and welcoming despite the busy atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, although a bit noisy due to traffic outside - only single-pane windows. The portion sizes are generous - we had a hearty lunch and a filling breakfast the next morning.

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating during Sunday lunch. The Sunday roast was delicious, although it was not served hot. The roast vegetables were cold! We appreciated that condiments were offered before the food was served, as we don't like being offered them after the food has cooled down. We traveled all the way from North Bristol to get here, taking two buses! The restaurant has a pub-like atmosphere and may not be glamorous, but you can expect a good, home-cooked meal at a reasonable price. Thank you.

After dropping off relatives at the airport, my husband and I were in search of a place to eat. The Angel Inn was recommended to us by patrons at another pub that did not serve food on Saturdays. The exterior of the restaurant looked old but charming, and the interior was equally beautiful. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was both plentiful and delicious. I mistakenly ordered a side of onion rings, not realizing that my main course already came with a generous portion of them.
