Two nights! the breakfast was great, but the dinner was great! everything was so fresh and delicious! our server rose made the experience perfect with their knowing about eating and their beautiful nature!

Stayed two nights in the pinnacle cottage. The hotel is in a great location to explore the island. Breakfast and dinner were incredible. Thank you to all of the staff for a wonderful time, especially Rose, Kerry and James for going above and beyond.

This restaurant excels in every aspect, from its elegant ambiance to its exceptional service. The dinner we enjoyed was expertly cooked, beautifully presented, and served at the perfect pace. Guests staying overnight at Duisdale are in for a treat with the same level of care and respect shown in their breakfast service. Our server, Rose, was delightful and very knowledgeable. After a week of lacklustre sometimes rude service on Skye, it was great to be met with a smile and world class servers. The food was exceptional, particularly the large scallops, the generous potatoes, the delicate lamb and the memorable home made ice cream. It...seemed to us that most of the restaurants on the island were tourist traps inflated prices, and very bad customer service are common as there is little repeat business. In short, unlike the great majority of other restaurants on the island, Duisdale House has self respect... and cares Kerry in particular was an attentive and friendly server.

Duisdale House conveys perfection in every aspect, from the inviting atmosphere in the dining room to the exceptional professionalism of the staff. Guests not only feel welcome, but also truly appreciated. While we have enjoyed many dishes here, the standout was the perfectly prepared halibut, sourced and cooked to perfection. The menu may not be extensive, but each dish is executed with utmost dedication. The employees here deserve special mention for their professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring a flawless dining experience. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for only one night. We got to the hotel late in the afternoon. I wasn't expecting much from the restaurant, but was I ever surprised! We had a great meal: sea bass, pigeon, venison...everything was excellent. The...best part of meal was the service, and in particular, Rose, our waitress. She has such a cheerful, fun personality. She clearly is the sort of person that any restaurant would be happy to have represent them. Not only was she helpful and friendly, but she made sure that every course was delivered in a timely fashion (difficult during these times of staff scarcity .
