"We popped here for something to eat, knowing that the pub runs an Italian restaurant. The food was excellent (I had the rib eye steak and my other half had the halibut), and the service was second to none. Really personable folks who provided a...professional service throughout. I think the only issue for this place is the branding. Its not overly clear as to whether it is The Bell Inn (eg a pub) or an Italian restaurant. The interior still has a strong legacy of the pub it used to be (traditonal bar and the old tartan carpet) but with a few signs they’re starting to add a few touches to make it feel more Mediterranean (vines and fairy lights in the ceiling panels). But certainly from the outside, and the website, you might still be a little confused as to what this place is. I think if these guys can get the marketing right, this place could flourish. There are no other Italian restaurants in Kford, and with the local Wetherspoons inevitably cornering the pub grub market, The Bell could become a little haven for those wanting something a bit different, intimate and authentic. They’ve got the basics right the food and service are spot on and its a succinct little menu. They just need push it on and go full pelt Italian with both its interior and branding. I’m guessing they’re doing this, but one step at a time. Keep up the good work guys."

We have missed this place during lockdown. Plenty of choice on the menu, not long to wait for the food and the food was lovely.

Excellent Monday Lunch. good quality food at a great price. Served by the excellent Ollie. Three of us ordered the chicken pasta dish and one the lasagne. Tasty side orders of salad and fries. Nothing to fault.

Visited on a Saturday evening and ordered pasta dishes....chicken and chorizo and pen arrabiata. Had to wait hour for the food to arrive but it was worth the wait, excellently cooked and full of flavour. Beer was good and ordered desserts to take...away....will visit again

My first time visiting as the new Italian and was very impressed. Food was amazing and service excellent. Have to say there was only a young lad and girl serving but they did a sterling job, Really friendly and chatty and very professional. Made our...night extra special. Definitely worth a try.

Used to go every Saturday when it was the Bell. Food was absolutely gorgeous. Went the week after and it had changed to Italian with no mention of this the previous week. Didn't enjoy it, and was difficult to find something on the menu I...liked. Tried it once more a few weeks later but unimpressed. Just wish it had stayed the same.

Called in for dinner,we were told they only had a limited menu due to lockdown which was fair enough.the was ok but there was no atmosphere due to the lighting, needs to be turned down a bit.the evening was spoiled a bit by noisy locals swearing...in the corner drinking.needs to make its mind up wether it’s a restaurant or a pub,it doesn’t work as it is

We have always been regulars as we love the food at the Bell and live close by , but didn’t realize until we went last night for my daughters birthday, that the chef actually trained in Italy for ten years, so they have now launched...as Campana with a fabulous Italian menu. The food was as gorgeous as always and the service was lovely and friendly. Prices as you would expect for Italian food. Great ale and wine too. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Had an excellent evening at campana we were greeted by Ollie who was our waiter. He was very friendly and very professional. We had forgotten our masks and he rushed to give us some so we could stay. He offered us friendly advice on the...menu and suggested the carbonara as it was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant due to his service alone and think he is a credit to the team. Well done super pleased with the new and improved restaurant!

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant which has recently changed from pub grub to Italian. The food and service particularly from the waitress and the young girl serving was excellent. Both very friendly and chatty, but not over the top Prices were comparable...to most Italian restaurants. They were very covid concious, with sanitiser and an in and out door. The only criticism I would add, is that it does not have the atmosphere and vibe of an Italian restaurant, (other people have also mentioned this to me). It still looks like a pub serving Italian food. It needs some Italian decor, maybe pictures, flags and chequered (paper) table cloths etc. This did not however detract from a lovely e...
