Came here, after looking for somewhere to meet friends in between our separate locations. Absolutely loved it. Amazing food and service.

I'm stuck on the way home today. not too far from us, so will definitely come back. great garden for children in summer. good selection of local beers and ales. friendly staff. spitfires fly over was an additional bonus.

Good beers, Sunday roast had a good range of options. Portions were crazy big, kids meal was huge and adults portions were enormous. Definitely no room for desert. Was a bit too salty so loses a star for the quantity over quality vibe.

ordered a 3-course lunch I collected. starter was a grilled cocktail with focaccia and butter followed by roast beef, Brat-Turkey, massive yorkshire pudding, 5 separate vegetables, including honeyparsnips and wimpen by gravy. followed by lemon melisse and ice cream that we ate a few hours later. my wife said it was the best she ever had, and I had to agree. well done chequers inn heaverham
