"I have stayed in many hotels over the years, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. To get to our room, we had to walk around the back of the pub near the kitchen and step over a dirty kitchen water channel. The room was very small and lacked basic amenities like a bin. Despite these issues, we decided to eat at the pub downstairs (although we found the food to be overpriced for tiny portions). However, the problems escalated when we realized that the walls and floors did not block out noise well, and we could hear loud music from the pub all night. Even after the pub closed, the music continued to get louder. Around midnight, we asked the staff to lower the volume, only to find them having a party with loud music and joints. They briefly turned the music off, but it soon started again. In the middle of the night, water started pouring through the fire alarm directly onto our bed. It turned out to be dirty shower water from a staff room above. After complaining to a staff member (who appeared to be heavily intoxicated), we were moved to a spare room that was also dirty and covered in hair and dirt. We considered leaving, but decided to stay the night despite the discomfort. The next morning, we cancelled our reservation for the following night and requested a refund, which we received without any additional compensation. Overall, it was a terrible hotel experience that I will never forget."

This was the best Sunday dinner I have ever had. It was definitely worth the drive from Bournemouth. The value for money was great, and both the chef and the staff were excellent. Absolutely fabulous experience.

Utterly superb food, well thought out, well balanced flavours and served hot and quickly! In addition though, the staff are wonderfully attentive and there's a great vibe dining here. Excellent value too! Thoroughly recommend!

This is a gem of a place nestled in an idyllic countryside village with acres of fields to walk the dogs and then stroll on in for the most amazing food i have ever tasted. The chef is amazing and the front of house charming and charismatic. This was an hour drive from where we live and worth every mile driven! We have booked to come back for Mother's Day so our mums can enjoy this charm and mouth watering food on offer. Hats off to you this place is a firm favourite with us View menu

We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon at The Churchill Arms. We decided to treat my dad to a belated birthday present there and all five of us had an amazing time. The food was exceptional. I ordered the sea bream and it was delicious. We all agreed that it was the best meal we had in years. A special thank you to the bar manager, Ed, who was fantastic. He was funny, attentive, and even treated us to some complimentary limoncello! We highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal and drinks. We would definitely choose it over the Ebrington Arms any day.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at this place! The location is fantastic, situated right across from a stunning field with a hiking trail. The rooms are lovely, with cozy beds. However, the standout feature is the restaurant. The service provided by Peter was exceptional, as he made sure everything was just right. The restaurant itself is inviting and warm, with a wood stove and charming decorations. The food was extraordinary; we tried the bark Wellington but wanted to sample everything on the menu. Overall, we highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return.
