We always get great service here. As a large family we understand that sometimes we can be an annoying booking, but nothing is ever too much trouble for any member of staff especially when combined with fussy eaters and allergies. View menu

We went in for the Sunday Carvery the food was great, and a great choice of veg piping hot and very tasty! We were looked after by some great staff, Tom and Laura especially helped make our visit a stress free experience! We did not leave room for a pudding, but those we saw looked very tasty

Wedding on 14th September. Staff were amazing, food was absolutely fantastic. Venue was absolutely perfect for us. Everyone at the wedding said it was the best they’d ever been to. Very relaxed. Staff went out of their way to accommodate and were really amazing. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Have visited the conningbrook several times with my family where we experienced delicious meals and excellent service. The staff are always welcoming and friendly anytime we visit. Staff are always extremely mindful of the allergy that my daughter has ensuring that all staff are aware so they can cater for her. Would highly recommend anyone to visit this well run establishment. Went to watch the England Vs Spain match....Result was awful but couldn't fault the venue....It was absolutely jam packed (as to be expected) but we were still able to park so a good start....Queues for the bar (again to be expected for a final in the Euros) but we didn't have to wait too long as there were plenty of staff behind the bar so surprisingly quick....Good choice of drinks and snacks and reasonably priced....Couldn't fault the set up for the football...Multiple large tvs scattered around both inside and out...Impossible not to be able to get a good view wherever you were sitting....Fab evening despite the final score!! Definitely recommend!

A nightmare from start to finish. Arrived midday Wednesday looking forward to a family meal.Had been told its not necessary to book. Shown to our table and sat down to then be told ' 'sorry we don 't have any steak or fish!!! ' ' .... My 92 year old mother had been really looking forward to having fish and chips! My brother who is unable to go out very often was looking forward to steak and chips surely not a big 'ask '!! even for a pub never mind a place that describes itself as a restaurant.We had to make do with microwaved scampi and a ' 'hard as nails ' ' steak and kidney pie......The restaurant was deserted.I wonder why? Never ever again.You have been WARNED!.

Booked to stay here as we had a wedding locally to attend . The hotel bar staff were so helpful nothing was a problem at all. We had rooms booked for two nights where on the second night our sisters were staying in the room as we were staying at the wedding venue and the hotel happily changed and cleaned all our rooms for the change. We used the bar for dinner on the Saturday there was a reasonable choice on the menu and the food was delicious the staff were helpful attentive and service was speedy and efficient.
